You got further than me, I just stopped totally when they introduced that as I reconsidered if my dumb post was even worth it. I suppose a lot of people like me did that too. Then I sit and wait for that to be over
Reaching old 8chan activity levels. Maybe it'll hit present altchan levels where the catalog is basically identical for months/years.pic related is three days old
I’ve never been banned on 4chan for negrating the owner’s cheese posts so I think that I will continue to use 4chan.Proper moderation is essential for the longevity of any online forum.
In an overmoderated forum, discussion becomes heavily limited thanks to the mods & jannies, thus people lose their interest in that site as they cannot discuss what they want to.
In an undermoderated forum, discussion becomes impossible thanks to disruptive users, who are more than happy to get into the same arguments every day and derail any on-topic discussion happening.
4chan manages to be both. Most of the site is undermoderated and discussion is often derailed by unlikable retards, but certain topics will be shut down immediately, like any suggestions to improve the state of the site.
Meanwhile, Kiwi Farms does handle its moderation surprisingly well. It's far from perfect, but I've seen far worse. While discussion on this site can be described as laissez-faire, the mods do intervene to prevent threads from being derailed. This is how this site retains its core identity as a lolcow forum and not as a janny hugbox or an online shitting street.
Kiwi Farms also has a rather diverse user base thanks to this. We have people all over the political (& autism) spectrum, ranging from TERFs to incels, from liberals to neo-nazis. As long as you're not a pedophile or someone who only wants to derail discussion, you're welcome here.
While culture changes over time and new users replace old ones, Kiwi Farms is likely to retain a rather consistent quality for its discussions (may fluctuate between threads) as time marches on. Meanwhile, 4chan is a sinking ship as their best users are jumping ship and only the worst people on the internet are willing to replace them.
Those are also the most insufferable people who don't last in other places, and are the ones who would samefag in, and sometimes occasionally dead, generals for hours. It impresses me how long they can keep it up. We had a few enter, not that they tried to samefag/sock, but they acted obnoxious as they did on the website. They either got bored and left after no one gave them attention, or got banned like the Marie Rose faggot did.I remember how after the hack there were people in this thread complaining how they have nowhere to go because other places don't allow you to LARP as multiple posters
Good riddance to a website that should have been put down sooner if it does die before the decade. I'm more cautious with my prediction and think it will be in the early to mid 2030s it will finally die. It bleeds more than it gains. You don’t even need to look at 4stats. It feels dead. /v/ will sometimes have threads up from two days ago now, which was pretty rare before. Even /pol/ seems to be slowing down, especially during Eurofag hours. It seems like a large chunk of the userbase never came back after the hack. I imagine most just decided to stay on Twitter or Reddit. At this rate, the site won’t exist anymore before the next US presidential election (and that’s a good thing!)
Its really weird, it lets me post on my laptop, and then keeps giving me the error on my PC.How the fuck is 4chan even still a thing? The few times I try to shitpost or reply to some insanity, I show up, try to make a post, run into a 5 minute delay before posting. Then I sit and wait for that to be over, and go on and post and either run into an error, I find my IP block banned for reasons unknown, or some other thing leading to me not being able to post or reply.
On some of the more niche boards there are posts that are about a week old. Even on /tg/ half of the generals are dead and just get bumped by the OP or shills.LMAO you weren't kidding, pic related is three days old and still up, I've never seen anything like this before on this board

You have to be a special kind of stupid if you pay for the 4chan pass, and either pay /pol/ is hit now. Its all turd worlder/jizraeli memeflag bbc/musloid spam and xitter screenshots.I think the last 4 or 5 times I've been patient enough to want to post to /pol/, every single one has ended in failure. I'm sure as shit not going to give 4chan any money to get 4chan "plus" or whatever the heck they call it.
Its all to drive people to buy the pass. How and why are people putting up with this? There's so many restrictions and brokenness around 4chan, I'm not sure why it's even still alive. If they have to gimp that place so bad, just fucking give up and shut it down. I'm perplexed that people jump through the amount of hoops they do to make a single post.
If they are trying to drive people away, it's working, because I am going there less and less, and definitely posting a lot less too.
Reddit refugees who are used to getting raped by the mods there wont event bat an eye at the shit the 4cuck jannies pull, and ironically, most of the new users are pajeets anyway.I remember how after the hack there were people in this thread complaining how they have nowhere to go because other places don't allow you to LARP as multiple posters (indirectly stated as the need to remain anonymous). 4chan is not going to die for as long as this kind of person exists because these retards just can't help themselves and they will tolerate everything RapeApe and co. will throw at them. Not very different from Indians moving into a civilzed country and complaing that they need to use the toilet instead of shitting on the street.
Back when I played TF (when it was a Quake mod), you could do this with furries. I always had the YIFF IN HELL FURFAGS animated gif as a spray and they'd always flip the fuck out.Trannies really can't handle criticism at all. If you ever play TF2 and a tranny's on your team, just call them a troon and watch them try to vote kick you over and over and leave if it fails.
I remember when you could just go into any board and open a few dozen threads and shitpost in them and they'd hit autosage in a couple hours. You don’t even need to look at 4stats. It feels dead. /v/ will sometimes have threads up from two days ago now, which was pretty rare before.
4cuck will probably just become another reddit but with 8chan activity in the next few years, and will probs either get hacked again, shut down my jannies after they milked enough money out of it, or nuked by feds after their honeypot collected enough victims.Good riddance to a website that should have been put down sooner if it does die before the decade. I'm more cautious with my prediction and think it will be in the early to mid 2030s it will finally die. It bleeds more than it gains.
What posts would you negrate? That fucking gook piece of shit never interacts with the site in any way.I’ve never been banned on 4chan for negrating the owner’s cheese posts so I think that I will continue to use 4chan.
I was racking up bans for "racism outside of /b/" even when I wasn't trying to be racist. No idea what janitor I pissed off.For over ten years I was never banned on 4chan and the last time I posted a few years ago got banned just for saying nigger.
Does he know?when they found out that they couldent strong arm their way into moderation
Last year I got a 30 day ban for callng someone on /tg/ a kike. What posts would you negrate? That fucking gook piece of shit never interacts with the site in any way.

I dont like where this is goingDoes he know?
It wasnt? There are people on /v/ right now talking about how epic and based chanology was. I feel like I'm losing my mind.
No way, all that Guys Fawkes anomalous is legion shit was the worst. I earnestly think chanology was the inflection point for spooks realizing that the internet was a beam you could forcefully wrench around to point at things in order to affect the real world tangibly, and all the godawful psyop culture war shit that's been going on online for years is just downstream from that.It wasnt?
Oh sure, the reddit larpfest was insufferable, but like, it was a good cause at least. No way, all that Guys Fawkes anomalous is legion shit was the worst. See, and I think that was the problem. Sure, Scientology sucks, that's true. But chanology introduced the idea, to speak in a broad stroke, of causes to an environment that was previously almost entirely just For Fun. Before that, the whole Subeta longcat debacle was the closest thing there had been to a "cause", I think, which obviously was just a pretense to fuck with people for fun. I seriously think chanology and its rippling effects ruined the internet by ultimately kind of removing the divide between The Internet vs. Real Life.Oh sure, the reddit larpfest was insufferable, but like, it was a good cause at least.
BASED, for once. Following the farms, geg
And nothing of value was lost.
