His voice is likely higher pitched than it is on his streams, but its more likely that his mic is naturally bass-boosting his voice due to the proximity effect.

To me his voice comes across eerily like a younger Howard Stern, minus Stern's mush mouth aspect. Howard's voice did sound naturally deep, but it boomed so much I wondered if something was tweaked with the mic or mixing.

You've got things confused. Mald has always been the way he is and as a "social engineer" he is being himself, an egotistical liar. He wasn't trained to be this way or be "good" at it, he's always enjoyed being a control freak and lying to people. A lot of the Second Life complaints are that he's an insane liar and scammer so we know it goes back before his time at Blizzard.
Here's a podcast episode about some woman who won one of the DEFCON social engineering challenges before. You can tell it's something Mald wouldn't actually be good at because you have to fake incompetence and placate the victim sometimes.

An Indian scammer can tell his voice is absurd which automatically makes him more suspicious.

But the 50% that went to the ferret rescue went to you, didn't it, because you own the ferret rescue, the ferret rescue is not a separate business, nor a registered charity, not is the "rescue" actually registered with the authorities . I think this guy thinks putting the money in a separate bank account for his ferret collection means the money didn't go to him. Hell, I doubt he did that, it's probably sitting in his main account.


Still doing voice analysis over Jason's twitch clips back to 2017. Had to play with the analysis software a bit since removing the music and other things from the clips sometimes leaves high frequency noise which can skew the results. And I need a bigger sample size. The 70 or so clips I have over an 8 year period aren't enough. I think an order of magnitude higher would be better. Need to make something to trawl through clips, find ones where he's actually talking normally or saying a sentence, save, strip background audio, analyse, log.
