The "sympathy" videos would work a lot better if they didn't have tons of videos showing off their over the top "acting". It's the exact same extreme, just with a different emotion. It doesn't actually come off as sincere in the slightest. I said it earlier, but I'll repeat it now since there has been a lot of attention since my first post. I think his comment about child services investigating them before is bullshit. I think he only said that because he thought it would keep people from reporting him after he realized all the negative attention he was getting. Either that, or any investigation was before they started the channel. If they had previously been reported because of their channel, I'm sure there'd be more PR spinning videos/twitter posts like the ones we're seeing now. He could also be talking about the initial custody process to get Cody in the first place.
I normally wouldn't put a lot of faith in child services, but if they do get investigated because of this, I think they would be motivated to do something just because of how viral this has gone, but that might be wishful thinking on my part.
