If I never knew of the Marky shit, I would've empathized with all of them in this doc. Given the doc I do empathize with Charls and Nick, especially Nick. But sam Hyde has two consistent traits. One is he is not funny. That shows with his interview with Shane, the Mattan podcast, and recently with Harland. The second is his use/abuse of his community. Most of it's financial but also how he used both Marky and Dani.

I disagree that it would be sensationalist since its his own words and he agreed to be interviewed. Brining in Channing or 4chan rumors would be sensationalist. Charls is a central figure in this documentary about the history of MDE who booted up a (regrettable) stream detailing his turbulent relationship with Sam even before WP was canceled. It was some of the first real bts stuff we got from anyone connected to MDE post breakup about the state of the trio. I wouldn't want a full dissection of the stream, that would be excessive, but I think it would be appropriate to bring up some of the central points Charls made back then even if it was to hand wave it away in narration.

It's a blackout drunk meltdown shit talking people who he has reconciled with since. Why would anybody involved especially charls want that in there? It would be humiliating. I've had one myself and still cringe at the thought years later. Having that relatively obscure moment immortalised in a documentary that most of your fans are going to watch would be nightmare fuel.
