It probably has more to do with a psychotic troon trying to say you having a personality disorder without being able to recognize how fucked up they actually are while also having no training or qualifications to diagnose anyone with anything. I would personally find that extremely galling.

To be fair, she might have suffered from the same kind of "narcissistic abuse" that Dave has. If that's the case, the break up will be absolutely glorious and potentially need a spin-off thread.

They are both Cluster B headcases and they're at the "Putting the other person on a pedestal" stage of Splitting. The moment anything doesn't go their way they'll flip to thinking the other person is GigaTrump UltraHitler and there will be a meltdown of Chernobyl proportions.
The rest of the band are all as dysgenic as Dave. She is using them for personal validation and hoping they all have unrequited crushes on her so that she can manipulate them into doing what she wants. I've come across this a lot in "toilet circuit" musicians, female singer recruits incel-adjacent men she considers well below her league, flirts with them enough to make them think they might have a chance, but not too much so that when they make a pass at her she can be all offended and torment them - and ask the rest of the band to "comfort her" from the "sexual assault" or "unwanted advances", starting the cycle anew. In the meantime, these friendzoned zombies will be at her beck and call, writing songs for her, carrying all her stuff and maybe doing repairs to her house and car for free.
A guitarist friend of mine fell for the singer in his band, because she would grind against him on stage and flutter her eyelashes at him, and he attempted to woo her by taking her to the opera and showering her with gifts, but not actually asking her out because he was an awkward autist and didn't know how. But in his mind they were dating, so when she brought her actual boyfriend to a gig and made a PDA with him at the bar afterwards, he had a complete meltdown, crying down the phone at me and saying he was going to kill himself. I also spoke to her, and she said that she had no idea he had a crush on her, she was just being friendly, and that she hadn't mentioned the boyfriend because it just never came up. All of which was obvious bullshit. Last I heard, he married some Polish tradwife, and she is munching on Instagram claiming to have EDS, CFS and POTS, while also camwhoring from her dingy studio flat above a whorehouse in East London (where I suspect she also puts in shifts). So a happy ending I guess?
Anyway, long tangent, but tl ; dr is that this woman is playing Dave like a fiddle and when she doesn't have any more use for him she'll crush his heart with all the subtlety of an air-raid and all hell is going to break loose. Can't wait.

Sarah's not in the Juicy Beets, though. She is a folky solo act with sporadic male sidemen, though Dave has become a fixed carbuncle to be sure.
I enjoyed that juxtaposition. Too few rockers attempt seduction via tickets to live opera performances.

He is going on and on about his villainous dad and how evil cops are, with repeated reference to the hundred hours of recordings of his dad screaming, while the mob boss Dr. Muscato got the corrupt cops to arrest innocent Dave instead. It's familiar stuff, but it seems more frequent and insistent than in the past.
I have a suspicion that the reality of his upcoming trial is gradually dawning on him and making him frantic. He can spew all the lies he wants to a fawning online audience, but in court he'll be faced with the clear hard evidence of his thefts.

Oh, it's a different 40-something Queen Bee trying to convince herself that she's still got it by attracting bottom-of-the barrel men to friendzone and exploit for free labour. My mistake. But being a solo artist with various backing musicians means she can make them fight and squabble to be at the top of the rotation. So much opportunity for free drama to feed the BPD chaos engine!
I don't think either of them even liked opera. But he thought it showed he was wealthy and sophisticated (he was neither) and she got to wear a dress to show off her cleavage (but not too much cleavage, she had to maintain plausible deniability that she had no idea he wanted to fuck her despite him running up credit card debts buying her baubles).
