ANTIFA / Antifascist Action / Antifaschistische Aktion - The anti-fascist gang with fascist tendencies

The fact that nobody is shooting at them while they curbstomp innocent people who may have looked a little too much like Trump voters is all you need to know about where the real intelligence lies.

ANTIFA is literally dumber than hillbillies.

Can't see this ending well. Mixing Antifa's idiocy with Florida's exceptionalism is a match made for stupidity. Really hoping to not this is turn violent.

Got a question: Does anyone think that Antifa is going to change tactics after Berkeley? Get more organized, better armed, etc., something along those lines.

Getting better armed just ensures that the dipshits who do that will get hit with armed felonies and enjoy some mandatory time in a racially diverse environment they might not like that much. Most protests, even when they turn into riots that get a bunch of people arrested, just end up with bullshit charges against a bunch of defendants that are just either thrown out in court or plead to minor disorderly bullshit.

Throw in some weapons, though, and actually cause some serious injury, and you're going away a long time.

People keep asking why they keep posing with airsoft guns, and the truth is that they aren't so exceptional that they don't understand the legal severity of using deadly weapons. I'd be very surprised if they ever cause many fatalities, except if a stray lunatic associates himself with the movement.

Radical movements don't work in this country for exactly that reason, they always attract VIOLENT radicals who, no matter how closely you try to keep an eye on, will eventually start shooting and the movement, whatever its virtues, goes down in a hail of legal shit.

The only hope of getting social reform done is the slow and nonviolent way if, for no other reason, bomb-throwers don't have the patience to sign up with them.

Radical movements don't work in the United States because most people don't care enough about the causes in question enough to risk life and limb in guerilla warfare. Violent revolutions often face violent opposition, but people are more willing to die when they have nothing to lose. It's the reason why prisons give prisoners privileges like TVs for good behaviour; they're less likely to go for death or glory when their lives are worth living.

Oops.

Somewhat :offtopic: but i was just wondering if in the near future we'll see sign's that all these riots happening at Berkeley have tanked their enrollments like we saw with Mizzou.

I mean its not like there's any sigh that this wont just keep happening, they told Coulter to stay away and she's going anyways.

Berkeley has been exceptional for over 50 years. If anything, this shit makes it more attractive to their target demographics.

/pol/ discovers identity of ANTIFAg who went around Berkeley hitting people with a bike lock. San Francisco State University professor Eric Clanton was recorded assaulting several people, including a Trump supporter who was sent to the hospital after suffering a sneak attack while defending a woman from two communists attempting to steal her phone.

I think the most disturbing thing about this is that this guy teaches Introduction to Philosophy and has had a background in teaching ethics and critical thinking. I don't know about you all but I don't want my Philosophy or Ethics classes to be taught by a guy who brutally assaults other people with weapons because he thinks he's right and the people who disagree with him are evil.

Are we sure it's critical thinking and not critical theory that he's teaching? The latter is basically "anything is justified because we're the good guys" at heart.

Depends what philosophical teaching he subscribes to. I remember the famous quote from Plato, 'I got buggered by Socrates, and then we went out to punch some Nazis #Antifa #BLM #NotMyArchon'
