I actually think these two are going to cancel out.
Chat GPT is not perfect, but it doesn't need to be. It just needs to be better than google, which basically just leads you to reddit/quora/youtube etc. Once you learn how to prompt it correctly, Chat GPT is far less bias, more specific to your question, way better at explaining complex things, significantly faster, and overall a superior way to get quick answers to shit than google or the resulting forums it takes you to has ever been. You can say it's trained on bias material, but so are the redditors and other faggots who currently answer those questions, every problem chat gpt has the current "google results" have worse, and more.
Forums really don't need to exist anymore, they've never been a good way to connect with people or gauge what the general public thinks about something They have also never been a great way to reliably get information. There's nothing that old model of googling can do that LLMs can't, even if chat gpt never improves from its current form it's a better than google.
Most other slop will be replaced as well. Ai makes better slop videos, slop porn, slop music, all things indians flooded the internet to make money off of they can't anymore. Right now they're using AI and posting the results on instagram but it's only a matter of time before people figure out they can just do this themselves.
I hope the farms remains a niche unknown place because you guys are great. But the rest of the internet is going to die and i'm very happy about that. It has been nothing but shit for 15 years. I'm not looking forward to the age of people pulling out their phone to fact check you, but there's no way it could possibly be worse than what we currently have.

I think this is already happening in talks behind the scenes and i'm thankful it will be solved, but a bit disappointed that it might be anticlimactic.
I'm operating off gut feeling here so maybe it's just autism, but I feel something in the wind. These meetings trump keeps having with leafs and euros seem to have some elephant in the room that nobody is mentioning. Combine that with the fact that
all of the 20 or 30 euros/leafs I know in person hate hate HATE immigration (and they're almost all progressives) but the powers that be are telling me most people love it. It's clear i'm being lied to, and said powers obviously have the
real data even if they're not reporting on it.
