I actually prefer self checkout because I am infinitely faster than any Mexican they have checking out, and all the lazy people avoid the self checkout anyway. It also helps that in California at least, you cannot buy alcohol in the self checkout line, which speeds things up even faster because all the alcoholics aren’t there.
