I know you're talking about Queertheo in your post but I want to highlight Mald's crocodile tears when it comes to doxing. Here is Mald in the past bragging about how he puts fake doxes of himself on the Internet and says that he doesn't care if you find his address because he has known where he lives ionger than the doxer:

Holy fucking Jesus... The "security expert" is relying on security through obscurity... I'm retarded for thinking it couldn't get worse.

Pretty sure it's his actual middle name. I don't use mine with signatures and other documents because most rational people wouldn't go by it. Jason prefers it since it further mythologizes his personality.
well I cant find anything below the year 2012 which mentions the name, so I am kinda thinking he either added that name as his legal name or started using it. Why else would it only be "Jason Hall" in the credits instead of "Jason T. Hall"

These Game Jam's just seem like a way for them to farm ideas to make their own shit.
> Make his own shit.
This fucker can't even finish his own shit let alone steal ideas long enough for people to notice.
Your browser is not able to display this video.
Also watching this clip from his ZZZ streams reminded me of how he had Rust trannies trying to convert him in chat to their code and him adamantly refusing. That and Genshit Impact had more content then Breath of The Wild.

I wonder if that slop stream statistics site had something related to this?

I have sent them an email

He doesn't have to complete it. Heartbound is a hodgepodge of stolen ideas. Even the name is just a rip off of Earthbound and the gameplay is some Frankenstein creation of Undertale and other indie game mechanics. The guy can't do anything original. I wasn't even referring to only him, these game jams just seem like a way for people to farm new ideas and mechanics.

Apparently there is a digital card for Mald somewhere. Can't find it though

IM GOING TO TELL EVERYONE NOT TO SIGN THAT COMMUNITY CARD
EAT MY ENTIRE ASS

also that ferret thing needs to go on the op, that's fucking horrific.
it NEEDS to be the first thing someone sees when they enter the thread.

How about we make a game about a ferret that is stuck up his ass guided by a gnome from Ikea. We can call it "Fart Bound." Obviously the ferret dies at the end.
I love it. Anyone want to actually start an open source project? I can probably contribute but I can't spearhead it

I'm just typing this as an observation, but I felt like as soon as I saw the announcement on kiwifarms saying Jason had been accused of unwanted sexual contact, my YouTube algorithm of people dunking on him had stopped completely.
Not just your algo. I literally searched "pirate software drama" and sorted by "latest" and still see nothing but that one video I posted itt.

Some great foreshadowing in this clip (I don't know how to archive these, somebody let me know please):

There's a yt-dlp thread somewhere I think but I can't go find it right now. I will download it from 1:41:50 to 1:50:00.
yt-dlp --download-sections "*1:41:50-1:50:00" 'https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2500055415'
I'm not sure yt-dlp actually parses out timestamps so well with Twitch VODs so I will have to get the whole stream and cut it out.

That ferret pic is horrific... thank you for archiving it. I hate you.

im ngl, I too also sometimes endulge in some DV content...
im not proud of it but sometimes its not half bad when im feeling particularly braindead
There's better content out there, man. If you want to watch some guy speedrun GTA V/SA, Hugo_One's got you covered, for literal days worth. Guy actually has a spine and won't go into multi-stage, 14-page essays when he fails a run, he just has fun.

Its been mentioned before, but another thing that weirds me out is the rule that your submission MUST include a design doc
I was wondering that myself too why is that and I have two guesses.
First the one that would paint Mald in a better light - he wants to follow his "go make games" doctrine and wishes for the participants to actually learn proper game development techniques. Creating a GDD is generally considered a good practice, not only if you work in a team but also for solo devs. It helps you to have a cohesive "vision" of the game and avoid a potential feature creep. If you have the features planned (even in the most bare bones prototype version) it helps to implement them in the long run.
I partook in a few game jams and have indeed wrote a few GDDs for them, but not because it was required or anything. It was for the other team members (coders) to know what exactly is the designers' idea for the features, how they're supposed to work, etc. A lot of them include pseudocode, general logic, concepts, even references to other already existing games ("we want this feature/mechanic from game X but done in a Y way"). It made our work much more fluent and cohesive.
My second guess, and I'm leaning more towards this one, is that Mald is a hack and he only put this "requirement" there so his game jams look more "serious" and "legitimate". More "professional". As in "I-worked-for-7-years-in-Blizzard-professional".
I personally highly doubt that it's for him to mine good game ideas. I think it's just a matter of ego.

(Preservetube)

(where's the next ex-roommate interview?)
Finally got through this. Shitty video for the most part where I'd argue Quintheo plays right into Mald's tactic and that repeated apologies are not going to help. Mald lied about Quintheo and his community and tried to get his videos and server taken down. Mald is trying to intimidate Quintheo and impact his income and Quintheo tries to play nice because he thinks that's the appropriate thing to do.

This was not worth the "7 hours of editing" and an hour of talking in circles to repeatedly say "We don't condone doxing and it never happened to begin with." Mald and his khronies cannot be placated so it's not worth trying. Every interaction they do is in bad faith. The video isn't "bad" aside from being absurdly drawn out but this isn't a trial, you don't have to literally plead your case. Say it didn't happen, point out how Mald's "proof" is nonsense, make fun of Mald for being a toothless nepobaby that will miss his next patch deadline and move on to the part 2 of the coworker interview.

I agree Quntheo's last video is just a shitty discord recap and didn't like it, but think he wants to proof himself against future attacks or Pirate litigation. He said he took a few days off because he was scared of it and consulted a lawyer.
That whole video was showing all the discord stuff he can to refute pirates lies about Theo's community attacking him, doxing him and swatting him.
I was frustrated watching it, but shoring up against future allegations of attacks is probably what he is doing. Boring, but smart if he wants to keep making bank on Jason's downfall in the long run.

In the future when Pirate accuses him or his fanbase of trying to have him murdered, he can just point to this boring video.
