Payment Processor Censorship (Visa / Mastercard / Stripe / PayPal etc) - Discuss Payment Processor/Gateways/Banks censoring people in this thread.

that's nice, but ideally we would also have the government buckbreaking them from above (and that "fair access to banking act" bill is a nice start, but not a complete solution)
clogging up phone lines might just make them say "oohhhhhhh we're soowwwwwyyyy we'll put your games back right now!" and everybody forgets and they still maintain exactly as much power to fuck us all as they had before
This is how you get GROUP CONSENSEOUS that the government should buck break them. Every call they hang up on, put on hold, or be a bitch too is one more person redpilled. This is how you light a fire nigger, from a bit of kindling and a lot of lighter fluid

They're going lose you know. It is such an easy optics victory for Visa when the news covers the "angry gamer outrage mob who are mad they can't jerk it to 'daddy daughter rape fantasy.' " Who in a position of power is seriously going to risk their professional and political reputation to back them? And Visa is going to pretend like they're just some innocent multi-trillion dollar mom and pop shop that controls nearly all of financial transactions that they're is being harassed by angry man babies who are all also probably racist. Every time, and these idiots encouraged this shit for years because it was politically expedient for them at the time
I'm pretty sure this was always the plan but not the landscape they had hoped to have when going for it. Back when it happened the first time, people were censored left and right, you would only see discussions about this on 4chan and Reddit.

Now those two sites might as well be carcasses and people are freely discussing things and naming names in sites like YouTube and Twitter, normies don't care about mainstream media as much as they did back then either. They don't have a control over the narrative as they did back then.

Countries all around the world must rip the power out of the payment processor's hands and destroy said power. This also goes for companies debanking you for saying something they don't like. At best, all the censorship efforts must be destroyed and everyone is put in their place.
Copyright Law is also censorship. Are we finally in the times where copyright abolitionists can stand up and possibly do something to unfuck these draconian and anti-art laws in place?

Collective Shout is a Christian, anti-abortion organization and not a feminist one. Liberal progressive feminists are pro-kink, pro-pornography, pro-sex work, pro-sex positivity. Your trad wives are the ones who don't want porn, because they have children, and half of children are female, and girls are the ones being exploited by porn: a world with pornography is a world where their daughters might be tricked into a Facial Abuse video. Little girls are being coaxed into anal by their first boyfriend at the age of 10 because it is ubiquitous in porn, which is why fecal incontinence in preteen girls from rectal trauma is skyrocketing.

Censoring videogames because a female character sat a certain way is okay but censoring porn is the line where we draw.

Either way this really is a huh moment.

It seems the normies are making Visa card call center niggers scream in rage. LMAO even

Edit: It seems like this is getting bigger. A lot bigger. Ive seen this graphic floating around.

And it seems like many, many people are calling, enough that sloptubers are making videos on the GAMERS RISING THE FUCK UP

Ive seen a fuck ton of tweets supporting this on my own. Bros... are the normies doing something???
This is a good start, but it’s not enough. Visa can handle some crank calls. Actual legislation need to be put in place.

call me a retard killjoy but someone will need to explain to me how harassing call center employees is going to accomplish anything. the only way it'll change is via legislation.... like does anyone really think executives at visa and mastercard will give a solitary shit that the teds and shaniquas in the call center got 100x call volume for two weeks this quarter?
at the very least mobilising and doing something is better than nothing though.

>gaymers harass VISA call centers
>eventually VISA says "alright goyim, we'll give you your rape games back" and stops censoring vidya (for now)
>gaymers celebrate victory, stop caring
>pressure on VISA stops
>Joshua "Null" Moon gets nothing
i don't want to be a negative nancy but this is a very real outcome

I don't doubt that Feeder gets nothing regardless, but I think the payment processor stuff cascading with tangible political/practical capital-i internet-use issues like the Online Harms Act or Youtube implementing AI child screening is giving the blowback way more inertia than it would have had on its own. All this shit is being dumped out near simultaneously which makes it look rightly or wrongly like it's all one big coordinated move with a scope orders of magnitude wider than gooner VNs, so just giving the gooner VNs back isn't going to satisfy the overwhelming majority of people getting fed up with what's going on.

Payment processor executives deserve to be exposed to the most horrifying porn the Internet has to offer.

It seems the coomers' wrath is also being made aware of other forms of """democratic""" totalitarianism.

People are saying they are going to cancel their cards.
This is the equivalent of the Call of Duty boycott.
Not a single person is going to cancel their cards. They are a monopoly and you need them.
Only credit cards themselves and kiwifarms take electronic checks.

The Jews fear the coomer.
The cum golem is rising up.

Yep, frog was boiled too quickly, perhaps that was part of the plan?
I think it was more incompetence than anything else.
They're not that smart and the karens on Australia struck at the same time as the UK shit was about to go down so it made everyone very critically aware and a shit storm hit the internet.

I want my senator shitting his pants that if he doesn't support TPPD enough he wont get elected.
That's more ideal than Visa going, "oh no we can't touch video games!"

I just wanted to post to document what I experienced when calling the support lines. First, I have to clarify that I'm not a coomer and I'm a little happy that I don't see sex slop on my steam page. That being said, I also hate very long-nosed individuals who tell me how to use my money.

Calling the line got me to a flip representative. I mentioned the news regarding Steam and Itch.io. The rep didn't seem to understand what those were, but understood what to do when either are mentioned. Told me that the line that I've called does not handle complaints/inquires for the content policy nor is there such a line to be transferred to. To add, there was no manager available to speak on this matter because, as mentioned, the line was not for inquires about the content policy. Rep pushed me to create a ticket for the complaints department, but I didn't push through with this; instead, I asked about the volume and quality of the calls relating to the Steam and Itch.io censorship. Rep replied with "yes, almost every call is relating to the censorship" and "sometimes the person on the other end is very angry and yells." I ended my call here and thanked the Rep.

Now, I have no stake in the argument. I hate both sides, but I really doubt that these coomers are calmly calling Visa/Mastercard to simply inquire about the content policy and why an American company should bend a knee to some Aussie faggots. I have a suspicion that the coomers are aping out on the phone going "BUT MUH PORN GAMES" and acting like they've won the long-fight when the rep rightly gets pissed off and hangs up on them.

Happy to see normies are fighting tooth and nail when their digital crack (porn) is under threat of being somewhat harder to access, but slept when private interest groups were on a concentrated campaign to undermine and destroy their inalienable human rights to free speech and expression.

Same energy as boomers sitting idly at home while the government takes their liberties and sells their nation out to foreigners, but burning down neighborhoods when their favorite sportsball team loses a match.

I hope they're effective, but I kinda hate that the only open revolt against the most evil institutions in the world is just gooners who can easily be dismissed by critics as "a bunch of porn addicts who don't want their jerk material taken away." Seems like that makes it harder for normies to take them seriously.

People are too worked up about how this started over "porn games getting banned," and it's a rather disengenuous way to loom at it.

This started primarily due to two factors:
1. With X not being a censorfest ever since Musk decided to turn it into his personal chatroom, communities and discussion vectors have been better established to discuss shit like this among a wider group of people.
2. The payment processors decided to shit all over a company that is considered one of the last good companies, Steam (whether you personally believe this is irrelevant), and forced them to do something they didn't want to.

Every other time the payment processors have done this shit it was to people too small or isolated to get traction, and much of it was done when the only place to discuss it with a decent userbase was maybe 4chan if the mods decided to not be fags that day.

The current events are just a perfect storm, made even worse due to Steam changing their policy to state games that possibly go against payment processor TOS will be banned. It's not solely because some heavily taboo porn games were banned. It's because Visa essentially shot a guy in cold blood in a crowded street, and when people went WTF, they were like "nah it's cool, the government gave me permission to kill people I don't like."

Do not forget that the same old people are behind the mass censoring of violent video games decades ago (MK, Doom, anything Rockstar etc.) people just have no window or room to get their voice heard because computers are still luxuries rather than commodities and nobody takes gamers seriously at that time nor does the government have ways to enforce censorship laws internationally via payment processors.

They just shifted targets to a demographic that cannot resist effectively and they know it.

null saying being a positive polly usually works out in the long run has made me optimistic of the future
I have opted to be an optimistic doomer. I think our days are numbered online --not just residents of the wretched British Isles, but everywhere-- and so I'm preparing to unplug completely and resume touching grass full time.

I already have cupboards full of old video games, books and DVDs, the only thing I really need to get in place is some sort of industrial data storage device I can put my MATI archives and other YouTube stuff on, as well as my huge library of legitimately acquired music on (if anyone has any product recommendations hit me up).
I'm doubtful that this will lead to Kiwifarms being able to process payments easily, but at least Visa's hubris lead to some consequences.
Yeah that's probably never happening unfortunately. Even if we were able to wipe the slate clean it would probably take Null years to claw his way up out of the pit the payment processors have buried him in.

It feels a lot like the 2016 election, where the dems were caught completely off guard by the power of meme magic and more people were shitposting on Twitter than watching the debates. I think all the #FreePalestine stuff has also really frightened the establishment because for the first time in almost a century Jews have lost control of the narrative and even the normies are yelling 'fuck Israel'.

TL;DR We are unironically in the 'the goyim know, shut it down' meme.

To add you didn't really see this kick off until Mouthwashing a popular game of divisive quality which features sexual assault as a theme of the plot was banned. I have played the game the words rape or sexual assault are never mentioned and I could call its framing tasteful in some aspects as it clearly communicates that the sexual assault occurred yet never outright says it or shows it.

So for this game to be removed by Itch.io in the recent wave of coomer games getting banned was seen as a personal offense by a lot of people as the game had managed to take off on tiktok.
