I've been steadily behind in the thread by a day or so, but the amount of people who come in to whine about the Epstein shit is actually astounding. They assume that the entire thread thinks Trump is epic and super cool and based for not releasing the files and being a retard, when I've seen practically every regular poster say the exact opposite.

With that said, they then seemingly expect that if you dislike the Epstein handling, you now need to be a TES poster and hate Drumpf and to wished you voted for Kamala. Like that would do fucking anything to help the fact that Trump is an alleged pedophile, like 90% of those in power.

That's not how I remembered the 90's. Then there is the very long process of jamming "values" into us that are great on paper and something desirable in a high trust society, but which only serve to make you weak and complacent to whatever bullshit gets jammed into your face. Like exhibit A here

The hardest truth i've had to accept of the internet age is that there is 0 benefit to being the bigger man. I think it's a combination of the internet in general, the influence of turd world (specifically shame-based) cultures, and black culture.

It's hard for me to do this myself because I was just raised not to, but I support trump, right wing influencers, followers, podcasters, protesters, and all of them to act like retarded, narrow minded, unpredictable fucking animals because that's what everyone else does and it works.

Of course it's not just "morality" stopping people, the only thing keeping me honest is the threat of consequences and how I know the government would apply it's brutality with absolute glee with someone with my profile if I decided to act up, but the end result is the same, never do anything and keep getting fucked· It does seem that some of the conditioning is finally breaking, but there's still a lot of stuff to break through (yes, niggers are indeed the mongrels of humanity and there is no fixing them unless you apply a heavy hand) some of the more real problems can start being tackled. But we are certainly better now that MAGA has gotten the memo that fighting back and getting dirty is not only needed, but highly recommended and desirable compared to 10 years ago.

Quoting this mostly to point out that, as I remember it, the mid 90s were the beginning of when the media via television and commercials, started to emaculate men to a noticeable degree. Basically, they began to tell men that it was OK not to grow up and be a productive member of society and to also embrace more feminine traits. No, but its understandable. You look at old pictures of that, and it looks like Greek and Roman temples or European castles and Cathedrals. Buildings that took decades if not centuries to make.
Old Penn station was started in 1904 and completed in 1910. It looks nice, but if I had to imagine a lot of corners were cut in regards to the sake of maintainability.

They still make fancy buildings with that level of construction, the Sagrada Família basillica in Spain has been under conststruction for over 150 years at this point.

Think of it like Cars: Japanese build reliable, Germans build well, US builds cheap. Nice enough looking, but cheap none the less and won't last. This applies to a lot of things US makes. Its generally forgotten now because of how absolutely cheap China makes things

Not active construction, mind, it was left unfinished for quite a while after Gaudi, the architect, got hit by that tram. Still it's the world's best building, being in it is a transformative experience, it should be treasured. The other stuff he built is so amazing! And the rest of Barcelona is cool! Great food, hot people, amazing weather, gotta drive a bit for the beaches though.
