Going back to MWII is like going back to an abusive relationship. It goes well for one match, then it destroys you for multiple matches straight.

I was honestly thinking of doing that, I guess the one good thing about CoD HQ is that older titles aren’t as easily hacked after Activision abandons support, the 360 games are all but unplayable because of this

it’s a lot worse and much more noticeable on older titles to the point where they can change the color of texts, use god mode and all kinds of blatantly noticeable bullshit, with Black Ops 6 and really any post CoD HQ title it seems the discourse around it has shifted to less noticeable hacks, I’ve mostly been playing Solo Zombies but when I do play multiplayer I maybe get the suspicion of a hacker in 1 of every 25 games, still bad but this would be far worse on the original MW3 on the 360

I'm not disagreeing with that. Unlock all lobbies are becoming common on MW3 now, consent or not (messed up my stats that way.) I haven't played MW3 since then, shame it was my favorite Call of Duty.

Beat CoD3 last night. What a janky piece of shit lol
Graphics are weird, running animations look like out of a default asset pack. Gun models were literally unfinished. Game had some interesting levels, even though everything looked like washed out forest. Cutscenes were pretty ass too.
Something else that was ass is the AI. Friendlies run all over the place, bumping the Player out of their spot, even though they're basically useless and can't shoot straight right in front of them. Enemies are either full blown retarded and just stare at you with their guns out or they're Simo Hayha from across the other side of the map.
Story was absolutely meh, even though a lot of people said it was the best par of the game. CoD1 and CoD2 were FAR superior games in almost every way, including the story, and they didn't even have a story lol
But the most retarded thing about it were the stupid quick time events and button minigames, especially the row boating under fire lol
Driving a car was pretty cool and the tanks levels were alright.
Apparently the game was made in 8 moths and boy does it show.
I cannot believe that Treyrach went on to make WaW and Black Ops after this piece of crap.
Amazingly, still had fun. Might play it again someday.

Speaking of which, Activision is removing MWII and MWIII from the Call of Duty HQ launcher. So, now those two titles will be independent downloads for now on.
Obviously, they did that for Warzone but it's still a stupid idea.

I imagine it’s to make space for BO7 to keep the already horrid download size down, there all in the same engine now so I think BO7 will be BO6 with a BO2 skin, the multiplayer is just going to be your run of the mill CoDslop still enjoyable but not complex or intresting gameplay beyond running and shooting if I had to imagine, but I always have higher hopes for Zombies, I liked Liberty Falls and Terminus but the newer maps in BO6 Zombies just suck so in that regard my expectations are tempered

I've played Terminus once with randoms. The ringleader that knew the Easter egg steps had a Todd skin from the Beavis and Butthead event. Any of us that didn't know what to do, he'd ping us. If it wasn't raining, I'd kick your ass right now.
Now take a serious, gloomy map like Terminus and have a cel-shaded cartoon character tell you what to do. Think about it.

Too bad I already traded in my old MWIII copy; sorry Activision, but the creepy "give us your personal info" shit sadly killed my interest in your more recent games and future games. Maybe try again when you've got some credibility; should happen around the time you finally go bankrupt.
You know, the characters probably would've been a bit more decent if the devs bothered to try and at least make them fit the game's artstyle; they did that with prior CoD crossover characters, why not these guys? Oh, wait; they got to chase Fortnite's trends - even though people are getting increasingly pissed-off at Fortnite as well.
Also, why does every have the same "Almost too easy" quip, or some random string of swears? Are Activision that level of creatively bankrupt that they can't even create new AI-generated lines? That's just pathetic...

I hate how Black Ops 6 just reprimands the losing team with snarky insults. I bet if you'd repeat that in game chat, you'd get suspended. Probably because Marvel quips are easy to sound quirky.

That Call of Duty HQ was just stupid to begin with. You can now get a platinum trophy for MW3 after the separation.

They just can’t help themselves, not just Activision specifically but an issue with the wider game industry is they’ll release something barebones and just update later, this was also a huge issue with halo 5 and infinite, then even worse shit like DMZ, I think they realized half way that extraction shooters aren’t popular with an audience that just wants to run around and shoot shit and so gave up on it by MWIIIs release
