While I don't think it was exactly the point he wanted to make, it is a good point.

He is not mature. He has fucked his whole life up with this dumb politics shit. For the sake of argument we will assume that he isn't a homosexual OR a fed, even though they are both likely. He should be thanking Candace for her frank evaluation of him. Even though it's coming from a black woman, it is legitimately true, and Nick himself admits he's trying to "grow out" of his crazy bachelor mindset or whatever. Instead he has to start posturing about how he, as a conservative, doesn't appreciate being told what to do by a woman, and how he doesn't even have time for a family in the first place.
