It’s funny to me when you are on the outside of the more right leaning space you think that it’s all about hating Jews, Jews did this, Jews did that. The gerrymandering shit is mega gay IMO, but I can't really think of a simple solution. Both sides do it and they probably will until I'm dead. I remember when Desantis and republicans actually un-gerrymandered Florida because doing so would help Reps and the Dems screeched, it was pretty funny. Dem's keep clamoring for "Independent and unbiased 3rd parties" to make the districts, like those people exist. Even if they did exist there will certainly be times where there are arguably good reasons for districts to be one way that supports Dems or another way that supports Rep. It's a tricky thing that honestly can't go away unless we completely re-haul the election system or base it solely on mathematical geograpy, which I don't think is realistic. I guess we will see what happens, maybe we will get 55D California after all.

The Dems are panicking because a case before the Supreme Court right now questioning whether the deliberate creation of Minority Majority Congressional Districts is unconstitutional and violates the plain text of the Civil Rights Act.

Estimates are that stripping out the "Blacks Only" Congressional Districts in favor of non gerrymandered community lines would end any hope of a Dimocrat Congress for a generation or two. They cannot actually win without their guaranteed slave plantation Districts.

The feds don't typically interfere when there's a conflict between state and federal law so long as the person committing the not-crime stays within the state. That goes out the window if you cross state lines because then it's open/shut federal jurisdiction. This person was trying to enter the country which is and always has been federal jurisdiction.

Politicians on both sides are very sensitive to this. Probably cause they're all old and don't know how it works. I'm not joking when I say I've watched one unhinged guy get them to change things in my state by railing, and I mean fucking irrationally name-calling, on Instagram.

OK I had a fucking day and I need to talk about it.

For years I would go to state parks and hike by myself, go down trails, wear my Merrells, bring my trail mix, listen to and be in and enjoy and appreciate the natural beauty of my state.

My girl, she's a city girl. So while I took her a few times, it wasn't the same, and I didn't enjoy it as much. I haven't had time or inclination to go to the parks in the past few years, probably not since 22'.

A few weeks ago she asked to go, so we did. A state park close to me, only about 20 miles from the city center. And it was filled with spics and jeets and I hated it. Walking a trail and seeing a woman in a hijab? Wtf is this? But whatever, it's close to some low income suburbs, and it's really a glorified park/playground than a place to hike.

Last night she said let's go today to another state park, way further north, close to 80 miles away. She wants to make it day trip, etc.

The area is gorgeous, and the demographics of those living there are white.

Without hyperbole, we were 2 of maybe 10 white people out of close to 500 people. Mostly spics, but also a tremendous amount of south east Asians. Bros, I watched a group of 50 men pray to mecca at a state park today, serenaded by short order cook music, and surrounded by egg shaped women and a quinceanera. None of this is exaggerated. We had to leave, we were shocked.

I am so tremendously angry that they destroyed my country. My girl said "it's like that video of Mall of America, and seeing only Somalis." we didn't think it could happen here and not this fast. I can't believe it!

I need them out of my country. I will vote for anyone, with any policies to get these mother fuckers out of my country. Why did our politicians do this to us? I don't understand it, they have children and grandchildren too, why would they do this to our country?

I am a 1 issue voter from now until I die.

My terrible idea to create house districts... Have the districts radiate out from the center of state capitol building like wheel spokes. First spoke starts at true north. Each section will have equal population so they wouldn't be the same size.
