I joined this site just so I could comment here... You all have done a wonderful job covering this story. I can't believe there are people in this world sick enough to enjoy watching these people film their lives, let alone the mental anguish they inflict on their children. This flabbergasts me.

These two still don't get it, though. It's not the types of videos they are making that is the problem. It is the behavior that is the problem, and that behavior didn't start with the camera and it won't stop without the camera. The psychological torture of poor Cody especially will continue until or unless he is removed from that home. That step-mother clearly despises him and his sister. The father is a moronic bully. The abuse won't stop because they change what they film. I'm afraid CPS is doing and will do nothing to stop it. There is enough evidence still on YouTube and right here on this site alone that should have those kids removed from that home. The fact that they are still there is scary, and a poor sign for the future.

I hope those nasty parents die alone and rot in Hell.

saw a post in the phil defranco subreddit where they have concrete evidence that mike edited his videos to include audio that would make him out to be slightly less of an utter failure as a parent. things like "warning" his kids not to hit each other too hard during the water bottle slapping video. i can just picture this retard sitting alone in front of his computer, pretending to care about his kids into a microphone rather than actually comforting them. he also cut the audio before emma most likely said she'd rather live with her bio mom. i'm sure other videos have shit like this if you look for it.

Well, the apology seems sort of genuine (mostly from the Mom.) but honestly that doesn't mean they're gonna change how they parent those kids. They're probably gonna stay off Youtube (If they're smart and proactive in what they're preaching in that video. If they come back then you know they just want drama and don't give a shit about the kids.) which will be good but I doubt anything will change otherwise unless they really truly get professional help or get their kids taken away or at least get Mike away from them. I think he's probably gonna end up in jail, tbh. Those kids have already suffered too much I think the damages are irreversible at this point.

This thread is on my watchlist primarily so I can see when these shitbrick excuses for parents finally get their asses arrested. With all the publicity they're getting, it would make the Child Services of that county look terrible for not doing anything, and I know damn well they don't want that.

The fact they have to be motivated by public outrage before taking any action really shows how worthless they are.

Well I just got caught up to this and I have to say my day is ruined.

I have to say though, Cody sure is taking it better than I would've. If I had a dad like this, I'd punch him in the face whenever I could.

Nowhere in their "apology" video was there a sincere apology. I believe they are sorry that they may lose Cody and Emma, especially Cody, but only because without him and their ability to torment the living shit out of him daily, their fans will dwindle away. They don't apologize for how they treated him or any of the kids. They don't apologize for their behavior. They apologize for going too far in their videos and putting things on the internet that shouldn't be there. They don't get the issue, not even now. Cody doesn't need family therapy. Didn't she say they did that before? He needs individual therapy. Someone he can talk to that is on his side and his side only. Family therapy will not help him. How can he be honest in front of that group and then go home with that gorgon?

It seems obvious they got a lawyer who told them to quit looking and acting like trash and act like they give a damn about the welfare of their kids, go to counseling, yadda yadda. This is to look good in court. The lawyer wouldn't be doing that for the sake of their YouTube channel, because clearly their fans don't see a problem and those that do will likely never forgive and subscribe. They'd only be doing that for the sake of trying to fool the court later on into thinking these people weren't the complete trash that they are and that they have seen the light and have changed their ways for the sake of the children. That's what that tweet was from Daddy the other day about demonetizing the videos because he cares more about his family than money. That was a lawyer who told him to do that. He never would have done or said that on his own. He is not that smart, and neither is she. They are scared and their lawyers are already trying to repair or white-wash as much of the damage as they possibly can to make their gutter-trash clients look like stable suburban middle-class parents, and that gives me a little hope that there may be a fight coming to them. So I hope that people don't forget this and don't let the videos of their abuse get lost or taken down on YouTube so that maybe someone somewhere can use them against these despicable creatures if and when the time comes.

The mother filed a police report and I believe a judge or CPS in the country the shitheads live in ruled that it was corporal punishment and not abuse.

i'm curious how cody developed ODD while in his bio mom's custody and without having any contact with mike for the first seven years of his life. clearly mike and heather fucked with his mental development to a much worse degree, but his mom doesn't sound like mother of the year either.
