That pisses me off as well. So basically fuck any great works of literature because the author just happens to be white and male. Doesn't matter if the book is an incredible masterpiece for the ages. It's automatically negated because of the race and sex of its author. How progressive. How tolerant.

Tumblrinas are the most consumerist people on the planet. Put them some lesbians or POCs on a show and soon they'll be wasting precious money on stuff like toys, books they don't read...I mean they won't be able to pay rent, but hey, that shows how much they support their precious bubbline! ;)

Also lmao at the "white guys writing novels". It's not like tumblr ever reads anything written by a genuine POC or the like. When's the last time any of these babbies even read latin american lit? Or given Maya Angelou a chance? If the author wasn't bred in the USA or Britain and is white as snow, it doesn't matter to these fucks.
