I think these 300 year sentences and fantasies of prison retribution are so monumentally gay. Instead of the justice system tacitly hoping prisoners will do their dirty work, I think the justice system should just shoot these motherfuckers in the head (as a method of capitol punishment after a fair trial by a jury of their peers).

They're not worth the bullet. They should be forced to fight other violent inmates (or pedos), to the death, on PPV. At least then, they raise money for the state - which should go to public education or something beneficial to society.

It's more complicated than that. The criminal justice system serves three purposes: rehabilitation of the offender, where possible; segregation of the offender from potential victims; and deterrence, i.e. to serve as an example to dissuade future offenders.

In situations where rehabilitation is possible, that should obviously be the goal. But there are situations where rehabilitation is impossible, thus logically necessitating indefinite segregation. This is where the argument for capital punishment comes in, because the only difference between a lifetime of segregation from society and death is a million dollars in tax money; both serve the same purpose to society at large, and one makes a lot more sense.

Where capital punishment fails, however, is as a deterrent to future offenders. Methods of execution like hanging, electrocution, paralytics and, yes, a bullet to the head, have all proven themselves to be too agreeable of a fate to prevent certain people from engaging in certain behaviors, which is why you historically need the threat of a lifetime of tax-subsidized nigger rape.

Unfortunately, as we are seeing with this recent crop of offenders, pedophiles are disproportionately massive fucking faggots who absolutely love the idea of a lifetime of tax-subsidized nigger rape, which is why we have to explore other possibilities like flaying, immolation, putting them through the woodchipper, or making them try to submit a post on kiwifarms while null is fucking with the database.
 
As much as it is completely valid to have these feelings, at the current time in this modern society, those feelings cannot be granted because apparently these things are apparently "human".

Now, if the chaos of the Collapse happens, that alot of these losers actively push towards happens, then all bets are off and you're free to execute them on the spot, as well as anyone else due to Primalism being King in a Post Collapse Society.

Agree that 300 years is showmanship but disagree about shooting them. While it is satisfying for revenge, or neutral for the person who professionally performs executions, it's too light of a punishment. You take their life, and their freedom, but he won't feel it more that maybe 2-20 minutes depending on the bullet trajectory and caliber used.

For crimes like these, these faggots are hated by both the staff and prisoners. No friends, electronics, socialization, hope for freedom. Just a choice between a small windowless cell in protective custody where he will rot day by day with shortened yard/lunch time than gen pop prisoners, or gamble in gen pop until somebody with a life sentence overhears a rumor and shanks him during work/yard/laundry time. On the topic of capital punishment by shooting, Belarus is the only country who still practices death by firearm in Europe (wiki article). It's culturally a Soviet custom during the cold war, so it won't ever be employed in America most likely.

Completely agree. Putting them out of their misery, if anything, is the opposite of a punishment.
