Ok, so I'm going to edit my post. I heard it from Rose's side, their family has been in touch with Heather's ex and said he was working to get his boys out of there. I can't find it anymore, google is flooded with hits making it impossible search. His name has been kept out of this and he hasn't spoken publicly.

I have no reason to doubt it, there is no incentive for them to lie about it but at this time I can't evidence it. Apologies.
No reason to apologize.
I've heard from a couple people Mike's ex wife (Cody's real mom) says Cody has some diagnosis.
I'm saying that I don't see it, and those are natural responses to a 9 year old being filmed and bullied 24/7 in your own home.

To be honest, I don't see how Cody has special needs. He actually seems to be one of the most intelligent and well put together ones in the house.
I'm not joking, he comes across as more intelligent than Mike and Heather.

He talks in a clear and concise manner, doesn't stutter, is typically grammatically correct, tries to explain his feelings with words instead of violence, and is usually in the right.
His "parents" and brothers stutter, have a warped sense of right and wrong, say "uh" and "um" a lot, use internet slang in real life like "it's just a prank, bro!" and "salty" like exceptional individuals, are often violent, and generally come across as unintelligent.

As for the crying and self harm, he's a fucking 9 year old trapped in a house surrounded by people incentivized to fuck with and bully him to tears and upload it to YouTube, of course he's gonna have trouble focusing in school. I'm surprised he hasn't killed himself yet.
according to Rose and a document she released (can't remember exactly which one, i think Nick Monroe reposted it to his blog), he has oppositional defiant disorder and either one or two other disorders that weren't revealed (they were censored on the scan of the document). they're probably behavioral issues as well rather than learning disabilities or developmental disorders, but considering his problems, he is indeed remarkably well adjusted and clearly very intelligent.

he definitely has the beginning signs of anxiety or depression. in the video about him self harming at school, you can see him instinctively start scratching away at his arm while mike yells at him. but of course, mike probably yells at him whenever he shows signs of being unhappy.

*You learn your son has been self harming at school*
"You fucking idiot! What the fuck is wrong with you?!?!"
What a fucking great dad!

I think we can all agree that children are our future. We have to teach them well and let them lead the way. We have to show them all the beauty they possess inside, and give them a sense of pride to make it easier. Then we can let their laughter remind us of how it used to be. That is the greatest love of all.

To be honest, I don't see how Cody has special needs. I see this as Mike and Heather trying to figure out why he screams so much when his brothers come into his room and beat him up. He actually seems to be one of the most intelligent and well put together ones in the house.

Meanwhile Jake is the favorite and he's fucking retarded. Boy's dumber than a sack of rocks. He never betrays any emotion that isn't Butt-Head-esque chortling. The smartest he gets is realizing that he can just sit in Cody's room with a camera, staring at him, and it makes Cody flip out because he's so trained to brace for shit whenever Jake enters his room. It's psychological warfare, not that Jake would know what those words mean.

'Cause he's a retard.

I wanted to check in here and give some advice on video downloading and archiving, as I've had to do a lot of it on the Foxler case yesterday. I know they've taken down all their videos, but backups and overlooked copies exist, and if more people properly download/upload them it will make their task of information suppression harder.
.............

Up until I clicked on that link I had no idea what a "furry" was or whatever it's called. WHY.. Dear god another Chris Chan'esque rabbit hole (like Bashar). SIGH. My weekend is facked.

No! You don't get to be alone or hide from my torment! Get the fuck out of there and let me treat you like shit or I'll punish you!

. The fact that Cody tries to get away from the chaos in an attempt to calm down shows that he has far more self control and maturity then the actual adults in the household.

They're actively pushing him and trying to get him to be dumber and more violent so they can get clicks.
I.E. How Heather gives Cody a "pep talk" saying Cody should "fight back" if Jake is bullying him, advice Cody is too smart to fall for, cuz he knows Jake would just hit him harder.
What scum. I hope they can get Cody and his sister out of there before they become mongoloids like the rest of the family...

. That might actually be one of the main reasons Jake targets Cody. Maybe he realizes that Cody has more maturity and intelligence then he could ever hope to have, so this is his way to try and "put Cody in his place" so to speak. Just an idea.

I should've prefaced it, and even tho in the video they didn't mention the firefighter Dad's name, Ride found it anyway.

On page 2 @Ride posted Heather's ex's name. Rickie Zopp.

I also think it's cuz Cody gets that what's going on isn't normal, so he's fucking stressed. Like, Jake just smiles like a tard and loves it (and his parents love him for it), but Cody realizes that his guardians are fucking awful so he probably (rightfully) feels trapped in a prison where people can just barge in and ruin his shit and then have his parents yell at HIM to clean up someone else's mess.

I don't think Jake is worth worrying about. I'm sure he will grow up to be a girlfriendless asshole, but this all started pretty late on his childhood timeline.
Considering the fact he's a jock...I think he'll get a cheerleader pregnant on prom night and end up being a deadbeat who abuses the kid, just like his father.
Swoogity swoogity

Goodness, he looks like a tryhard edgy 17 year old despite being what, 30? 40?.
He has the gay ass ear piercings, the douchebag goatee, and even huge fucking zits!
This asshole should be listening to Linkin Park and smoking a tiny cigarette while loitering near a Walmart and burning homework or something, not fathering and abusing mentally disturbed children.
"... do stuff back [so I can give you shit for it]."

They're not allowed to fight back, there are repercussions for self defense in this home. Hell, there are repercussions for trying to walk away to find a quiet space to just be alone and cry.
I think these redneck dipshits may be the only fucking family in America that punishes their kids for trying to solve things peacefully.

This image of Cody being dragged by Jake as Mike films and tells Jake to "stop" but not actually intervening says it all.

Is there a way we can give Mike and Heather to ISIS?
Screenshot_20170429-012237.jpg

Not joking, I know we can't, but if we could arrange it, I'd love to see it happen.
Cody is crying after being assaulted and dragged by Jake, Jake continues to bully Cody, and Mike scolds Cody for "not being able to take a joke" then complains about his camera being out of focus instead of consoling Cody like a real father.

ODD doesn't really have any physical signs. It primarily manifests in behaviors (normal kids slam doors and stomp feet; kids with ODD have been known to straight up flip or throw a table instead because they cannot properly process anger other than extreme action and responses. Not a matter of "they don't know how/haven't been taught" how to process - they simply CAN'T due to defects in the brain.) and extreme reactions.

Kids with ODD in average family environments with no supportive care or diagnosis act out more than the regular kids and can come out either well adjusted (or at least the best the can manage)or complete shit heads.

Cody is, unfortunately, living with a condition that makes him naturally more volatile and prone to extreme reactions while living in an environment dominated by things that deliberately trigger these reactions and episodes. The other kids, yeah, they get mad and upset, but they aren't as easy to trigger as Cody is. With Cody it's an immediate and extreme reaction because that's literally what his disorder is.

I can't tell if Cody has ODD or not because he's acting like any 9 year old should to this circus.
