I watched the video before it was taken down and it was kind of interesting. Rose has a hard time following a lot of what the attorney has to say and needs to be coached on a lot of answers. This could very well be shellshock from the entire ordeal since they seem to have gotten the ECO in the past day or two, especially since the attorney described the kids are in "deprogramming" mode and adjusting.

It should be mentioned though, the emergency order is only valid until they can get a hearing before a judge. After that it's back to the courts, and I'm not sure what happens custody-wise in the in-between.

HUGE UPDATE!
EMMA AND CODY ARE BACK WITH THEIR REAL MOM!!!
Here's the video of Emma's biological mom with her lawyer.
Edit:
Video was taken down, but the video said that she was granted emergency custody.
She thanks the people on the internet for helping her keep this alive.

So chuffed to hear something's been done! Hope the reunion goes well and they, as a family, go from strength to strength. This news has made my day.

Well, I hope things work out for them.

Any word on the fallout on Daddy and Mommy's side?

I think they accidentally uploaded the unedited version (e.g. there's a bit at the beginning where the lawyer says 'lets start over again', she screws up a few times and he has to remind her what to say like the authorities, organisations, youtubers etc. involved)

Apparently they got emergency custody and picked the kids up with the police. Cody told the mum he hated her and that Mike and Heather told him she 'threw him away because she didn't love them anymore'. Emma is doing quite well according to them.

That's the strange thing, isn't it? As @pozilei said, the sheriff came and took the kids from the house. Their lawyer must have them on total lockdown because I don't see either Heather or Mike having enough self control otherwise to keep from going nuclear online.

Both parents have to be so fucked up they couldn't possibly leave them in their care, so one of them gets the kids. Custody hearings prefer joint custody, too, even if they tend to favor the mother as the primary custodial parent. If they end up in foster care that generally signifies both parents are hopeless fuckups and even then they generally try to favor the unity of a family.

As much public interest as there is in this case, it is unlikely to be anywhere even near the most fucked up thing they've ever seen.

Shame, 'cause I'd love to see it.

That's a very important part of this kind of order. The government intervening in your lives and the lives of your family members in this way, preemptively, is with virtually no due process beforehand. "Emergency" order implies this. The government has to pony up some serious evidence very, very soon to continue doing this.
