I have a random question: Is there a way to watch all 103 episodes of Warau Salesman? I know that only 25 episodes have been subbed, and I've found many episodes raw-only on Dailymotion, but are there more episodes out there? I've tried NicoNico, but I think I'm unable to watch it without a premium account.

I wish I could help you here. I'm only glad interest in this series has happened at all. Fujiko Fujio (A)'s work isn't as widely known as his former partner's outside Japan but both aritsts went their separate ways with "F" doing kid-friendly fare while "A" took on seinen works such as this.

Why do I want to know where I can find more episodes, or why did I try NicoNico? If it was the latter, Google had links to the site, wanted to see if they worked.

If no other episodes are currently available, I don't mind waiting to see if more episodes will be uploaded onto Dailymotion, since the last update was a month ago, and there are enough episodes to keep me busy for a while whenever I get around to watching them. The fansub is unfortunately very slow and sporadic (and I believe they said so themselves they weren't going to sub all of the episodes), so that's why I was looking for raw episodes.

The former...well, also, why the interest, period? The latter, well, you have to log in to that site if you want to see anything. That's what stymied my attempts to find out what Ren and Stimpy was like in Japanese.

I can't quite remember, I happened to stumble upon it a few years ago and thought, "So it's like making a deal with the devil, except the devil is a salesman? Interesting." And there were 103 episodes, so there had to have been something to it for it to have lasted that long.

I haven't been watching the reboot since I wanted to try out the original first before starting it. If it's something like with Tiger Mask W, in which it's an actual direct sequel to Tiger Mask Nisei (and unfortunately, the English subs for that series are practically non-existent, though there's Italian subs apparently?), I'm not sure if I want to jump headfirst into a "25 years later" sequel that may-or-may-not expect me to know about the original. I know Ultimate Muscle is like that, except it was still able to be its own separate story.

I signed up, so maybe it's like a 24-hour waiting period, but the episodes I searched on there had the "paid" label by them, so I'm thinking they're premium-only.

As far as I know, Warau Salesman's episodes are all self-contained, like with most of Fujiko Fujio's other anime/manga. There's no serious overarching plot, so it's not a big deal if you start at NEW with minimal knowledge of the original.

Yes, both artist had this style from the beginning, I suppose it was hard for either one to give it up after they split so it just became their own thing based on what they did. That's why Laughing Salesman looks the way it does.

Always found those guys were hit and miss when it came to content. But that really bites. At this point, they might as well just outlaw the internet.

Man, between that and Bakabt going private, shit's lookin' pretty shitty on the torrent side of things. I guess I'll just end up using Tokyoshoto or something.
 
It was convenient to use but other ppl can just use magnets or something tbh fam.
