It wasn't proved either way that I can find, but one of the videos reporting on behalf of Rose mentioned that she was having problems gaining access to her own GoFundMe because of the controversy surrounding Heather and Mikes. Not sure if the controversy was because it was fake, or because of the shitstorm going on.

I don't know who Nick Monroe is outside of this clusterfuck, but his e-begging on Twitter puts Mike and Heathers to shame.

He's a nobody failing to be a somebody. I didn't recognize the name at first, but he's basically some spurg who wants e-fame, but has nothing interesting whatsoever to offer the world. He trolled around on YouTube and Reddit for awhile and tried to associate himself with some successful people, failed, then during Gamergate decided to pull a Wu and claim to be an investigate journalist. I think there's an old thread on him here, but there's not really anything else to him. He's definitely a cow, but just like everything else he tries to do, he fails at being a good cow, so there's little material to actually laugh at. Honestly, I'd be very doubtful about anything that comes from him as a source. The one thing he's not quite a failure at is trying to ride off other people's success, so some of the information he posts might actually be correct, but even then it's going to be heavily biased.

They seemed to have issues with PayPal, too... Eventually Chambers sent gas money to Rose through a bank transfer. It just seemed really overcomplicated for what they were trying to do.

When it came out that he was a fucking degenerate and when he wouldn't stop fucking lying, GG's rank and file essentially threw him out. He was blocked by other GG supporters and his platform essentially cut off at the knees. Ever since he's been trying to recover what he lost.

She could be a great laywer. A real pit bull. But there's still hundreds of hours of documented child abuse out there. If it's a jury trial then I would feel very confident in saying that Rose would get custody.

Money. Lawyers who are good at their jobs - and this one appears to be very good at hers - learn to set aside emotion in favor of the argument for their client. It's like a game to them, and the goal is to use all the angles to win. Feelings don't come into play.

I'm not regarding anything as truth at the moment unless it can be independently confirmed. Note that the attorney's statement does not say that she is representing the Martins. It says that she is "working with" them. Youtube commentators have misrepresented so much already, and gotten so much flat out wrong, that until she appears as the attorney of record for the Martins on the court documents I'm going to assume they've retained her in a different capacity.

We also don't know at this point if there is only one legal action. There may be - and arguably should be - a child protection action which is separate from the custody dispute between Rose and Mike.

Tbh, it's pretty obvious that Rose doesn't have "bad luck", she's just stupid white trash. A lot of her problems were brought on herself because she was uneducated. Her story of "they tricked me into giving away my children" wreaks of trailer trash "the gubment is after me". In my family law experience, we got those people a LOT. They don't read anything, don't get a lawyer, and then always cry "the courts were after me" when they ultimately fuck themselves over. She showed us a glimpse of that when she complained she couldn't get an attorney since the Martins had already gone to all the lawyers in town. Apparently she wasn't smart enough to just look at the next county over.

I'm not saying Rose is a bad person, we don't know shit about her, but I wouldn't exactly feel bad for her and her problems either. The issues she was having with Paypal and GoFundMe were probably her own inability to navigate the internet.

Mike's ex wife speaks out on behalf of Rose in a rather boring way and doesn't say much. This really doesn't serve much purpose unless you want to see what she looks/sounds like.
