Yeah... I would imagine that he thinks that because there is a large following of people that watch his videos to laugh at him and support the creators that hate him, that it somehow means they would actually watch Chance's videos as real fans to support him. It makes no sense whatsoever. He refuses to accept that it's infamy and not fame.

Also the Three Amigos trolling has been so successful over the years that they've convinced him that they make a ton of money from Wance's music. Everytime he tells his life story I just laugh at all of the nonsense that he believes is canon.

In addition to that Chance has no concept of how the real world works. He really believes if he gets monetized on a channel that it means he'll make a fortune. We know he compares himself to mainstream YouTubers so maybe he looks up how much Jacksepticeye makes and attributes that to himself.

It's fascinating to me how Chance squares away everything in his deluded mind. I think that's why even when things are boring I manage to stay interested. How is this idiot even a real person? and how does he live with himself? I believe I know the answers to those questions but I just have to see how it all ends for him...

He should open source his accounting. I'd love to see how the little midget got to these numbers. I can't imagine the mental gymnastics it takes to record yourself watching anime and singing karaoke twice a week and expecting to earn half a million a year.

I think the simplest answer is that he believes the total viewcount of channels like Goblin Records/NWB/WGH would equate to engagement he would receive, because people are coming to the videos 'for him,' that + a quarter lifetime of denial + general cluelessness = his current self-valuation as a person. Which, my guess, is also the reason why he puts so much emphasis on the "WITHOUT ME, YOU WOULDN'T BE SHIT" lines. As far as being paid to sit down and watch anime, it probably doesn't help that there are other talentless retards who have managed to gain a following doing reactions n shit, and is probably also why he demands so much respect for making gameplay videos, because the existence and success* of those channels is enough for him to spin it as a valid job.

My guess is it's because they have/had so little that getting something is a big deal, and getting rid of it could feel like a waste.

But that's a logical answer, and 339 isn't logical. Ed is broken, Sally is lazy, and Chance is a leech.

As if faking a suicide attempt isn't bad enough Chance continues to use that lie to make up new lies. This is just one of many examples of how Chance will lie and manipulate and say anything to fool people into helping him. Chance has no respect for anyone and he makes a mockery of everything.

He has more than 2 "suicide attempts" that occurred on stream. Last september he held a screwdriver to his throat on marty's panel and threatened to kill himself. Marty told him to do it and raxx dropped the act when he realized it wasn't working. He doesn't like to include that in the count however, because he knows it destroys his narrative and shows people it's just a manipulation tactic.

As an anger fueled urge, probably. If he thought he was on panel he'd try it. He's done it before on past Marty streams while backstage, as like a taunt or something.

Edit: That bit kills me that he's so rageful that in his blind anger he hears a dog and thinks it's someone speaking and attacks. He just acts, and never processes anything before he runs his maw.
