In theory, they want the right to be treated exactly like the sex they claim to be, but also for the sex they claim to be to change the way they do things to accommodate them. So lesbians have to pretend the six-foot balding hon is a hot woman, but also we have to act like a woman having a pen0r is just a standard thing. These are not, however, legal rights by any reasonable understanding.
In practice, they need to be eternally oppressed to justify failing in life, so “trans rights” need to be unreasonable, self-contradictory, even impossible.
In some ways, I think boys going through puberty have a more straightforward path than girls (disclaimer: am man), in that if anything, teenage boys want to be lusted after. Predatory women undoubtedly exist, but there’s a reason everyone posts that “Nice!” clip when a female teacher bangs a pupil.
HOWEVER, what they’re insecure about is their genitals, which obviously are not visible most of the time. Say what you like about the casual homophobia of teenage boys, but it does effectively police body-shaming. No boy is going to comment on another boy’s genitals in the changing room lest he be labelled a gaylord. Girls not only don’t have to worry about “measuring up,” they don’t have the male socialisation necessary to navigate male changing room etiquette.
