Woke initially was a black thing about being “awake to an issue”. Getting woke used to mean being aware of it.

I don't think it's suspicious at all. Her to become CEO in the event of Charlie's untimely demise was what Charlie stated he wanted, and doing all she can to fulfill his last wishes is an entirely reasonable form of grieving.
