I see it as something the Left would try and rally around and cause riots for. "They used tyler as an example what they want to do to all of us!"
It would be incredibly cathartic, incredibly symbolic. But I genuinely would fear the reaction would be far more hostile, rather than telling people. "Do this, and we will execute you with no grace or decency."

Make no mistake, if they went with Firing Squad, I'd not oppose it. I only am so uncertain what the future holds for after whatever happens to Tyler and any who supported his actions.
