I love how she compares gender studies to fields like biology, geography, and astronomy. Gender studies is more like the intersection of sociology and philosophy. Even the most basic conclusions of the field will be constantly held up to scrutiny because the conclusions are highly dependent on culture and era and may well be ignored as snake oil tomorrow.
