I always just imagined she pushed chris around with her index finger, punctuating every word she said with her finger against his doughy body.

What are the origins of the Man in the Pickle Suit character's interactions with Chris? I mean, I know that Marvin was the physical Man in the Pickle Suit and "stole" Emily, but even before that, Chris blames the Man in the Pickle Suit for breaking up Blanca and him. When did this character come into existence and when and how did he begin interacting with Chris?

I think it was Blanca. When they were about to give up end the Blanca saga, their finale was to say "aha! I'm not really a girl, I'm actually a black man in a pickle suit!" Basically, they knew Chris hated pickles and they thought that Chris was racist, so they just threw everything together. I'm not sure, but I don't think they thought Chris would literally believe there was some guy, sitting in a picklesuit, at a computer fucking with him.

But of course, as time goes on, we just learn, more and more, that Chris can be really fucking dumb.

I think a lot of us remember the mailbag where he said he approved fanfiction with pairings that weren't canon. But do you think if someone really did make say a Blake/Rosechu fic back in 2009 he would have accepted it or would he rage against the writer who dared to go against the "True and Honest Matched couples!"?

Heh, he would not be happy, I can assure you. I think it'd be a minor sort of annoyance for him, like when Lars was calling the pstriple, the pstriple.

Is it known how Barb has been handling all the recent crap that's been going on (the October 2011 incident, the fire, etc)?
 
Can somebody tell me what chat it was revealed that Chris thought a guy and a girl going to the movies was automatically a date but two guys doing the same was automatically just hanging out? Also the specific place where it was first revealed Chris stole pocket change from his parents?
 
A terrible thought just struck me: Chris and his mother's relationship bares a striking resemblance to the story of Oedipus.

I get that Barb coddles Chris and she's his only consistent human interaction but there's more to it then just that. It's been established that Chris has almost always been at odds with Bob. Not to mention, the terrifyingly unsanitary conditions of 14BC (I.E, the bug bites), most of which were indirectly caused by Chris, without a doubt contributed to Bob's declining health and eventual death. With Bob out of the picture, Chris is the only man, relatively speaking, in the household. He's the only person who ever sees Barb and vice versa.

That, along with the tales of cuddling and all these other things, is just kind of subtly horrifying to me. I will say though, this emoticon :cryblood: takes on a whole new meaning for me now.

Oedipus didn't know he murdered his father and had been sleeping with his mother. He had been exiled to avoid the prophecy that he would kill his father and bring shame and ruin to his family & the city of Thebes. He interpreted it as killing his adopted father and bringing ruin to his adopted city. So he left, killed a stranger that turned out to be his birth father and solved the riddle of the Sphinx, mostly to save Thebes but also to win the hand of the windowed queen in marriage. Nobody knew what he'd done. Despite this (and this was the point of the story to the Greeks), his mother still hanged herself and Oedipus blinded himself with a pin from her dress and exiled himself from Thebes for the rest of his life.

Just remembering the details of this homicide/incest/self-mutilation frenzy that questions if man's destiny is foretold or if he has the strength to alter it in an unforgiving universe... I too was struck by the striking resemblance to a 30 year old autistic slob that cuddles with his senile mother.

I've heard that Chris once thought Clyde Cash was coming after him and so he hid under his stuffed animals or something. Is there an article about this?

Can somebody find the "Guys can go out and see a movie and just hang out but if a man and a woman do it is a date call? Sorry for double posting but I really don't know how to search for it other than just going through every chat. I don't even remember who he was chatting with.
 
In line with the questions regarding Chris' alleged presence on the MHS honor roll, I understand Chris claimed to have "excelled" in math.

Does anyone have any information regarding the levels of math classes he took (ex. Algebra II, Trigonometry, Calculus) and the grades in such classes?
