Troonslop "Retro" Games / Demake games / PS1 Trannies / ULTRAKILL / Y2K trannies - Retro gaming is infected

Beta Decay is the only interesting gane using PS graphics and that's mostly down to actually understanding the tech limits and how they were used. Plus being an actual game with mechanics and substance helps too.
I've been watching this game's progress for a while now, and I'm honestly really looking forward to it. Another game that falls into the "retro" style category I've been keeping up with is Deep State. I'm pretty sure it's been posted here. The dev for that project is pretty cool

Celeste (along with being absolutely stellar gameplay-wise) resonated with me so much with its message about anxiety and overcoming your fears, and maybe the writing is the type of thing to be mocked now (indie game about depression, haha laugh), but when it came out at the time it really was something special, at least for me. And yet to this day I'm so disappointed that it's all waved off as just a troon metaphor. It literally directly ruins the personal aspect of the message because it went from a sweet wholesome story anyone could relate to with a very positive, uplifting message, to something that only trannies could relate to that encourages you to climb the mountain and cut your dick off. I guess I got some good memories out of it and MY OWN interpretation, but otherwise? Thanks for nothing.
Celeste always seemed really gay and retarded to me because it came out within the "ultrahard platformer" era after Super Meat Boy came out. But it is important to remember that you can just ignore the developer and the tranny shit. I love Cruelty Squad and think it was one of the most interesting games of its release year, but the developer is an absolute faggot who is angry that people liked his first game and is now self-sabotaging his current game while jerking off to AGPs in his discord. It is the classic art/artist dilemma.

Celeste is general is a special case because the developer only trooned out after it was made, and then decided that the already existing game was about being trans instead of the more universal message it originally carried.

Side note but it’s kinda funny how a second a person troons out they loose the ability to make anything good and will attempt to corrupt previous work. Happened to the matrix as well after all.

I once saw a comment on a Dark Souls claiming Gwyndolin to be "literally trans-coded".
>Born a male under a full moon
>Parents decide you're a girl now
>raised as a girl (probably got put on magical puberty blockers)
>use illusion magic to pass
>be a weird abomination
>get eaten by a pedophile
Almost forgot that he made the illusion of his sister have giant tits. iirc he didnt really meet her before she was sold off?

literally trans-coded!

Where are all those people that keep talking your ear off about how "indies are winning big, trust me, bro"?
In the same place they were - not that their statements change the situation; Each astroturfed indie sensation, or a well-deserved one, is the peak of the mountain of manure that the Indie Market is. Most indies are amateurs, do not forget.

trannies make good games tbh which is very conflicting for me as i hate trannies

It sucks so much, man... I wish Ville wasn't such a mentally ill retard and just suck up the fact that he's popular now.

Man makes game making fun of Funko Pop owners, tries to adjust his personality on the fly when he finds out his game's core audience is Funko Pop owners

It's probably just ragebait, but I'm genuinely curious to know what these games are if they do exist because I'm having a hard time finding them. The only one I can think of is Celeste but I would argue against it since the original idea and the majority of the main game was made before the dev trooned out. I guess Knightmare Kart could also count too since I believe that and Bloodborne PSX was made after transitioning (also how am I now finding out that the dev's name is "Lilith"?)

I could only find one list that were about trans developers specifically since most "trans" games were classified as having at least one character that was gender non-conforming (meaning it's possible that there were no trans people actively in charge of the development and it was simply done to be "inclusive").

There was also this random tranny vtuber I stumbled on who tried to make a whole schtick about playing trans games:

A "Literally who?" kind of list, evidently. We can conclude - most games made by them aren't too good, or noteworthy.

Troons shit out various types of games every other week with each one competing to become the next Celeste and none of them having even the slightest impact. The chances of finding one that ends up being decent is probably high enough, but it's always going to remain niche and obscure due to various factors. Doesn't help that many of them try to force the transness in their games in some way, cutting off any potential normal people who would want to enjoy it. I don't really know how they can complain about under-representation when they make content about stuff that the majority of the population doesn't care about. I'm all for making art for yourself and I enjoy personal media way more than the mass-marketed stuff, but in any situation you shouldn't complain about not gaining attention if streamlined media is not what you're interested in making.

It's kind of funny how they sort of created the same issue with oversaturation and stagnation that the AAA industry made for itself. Soon as something gets popular it gets 20 imitators trying to be that same thing but the contrast is that it's also trying to be the creator's own view of it. Everyone tries too hard to be unique but is trying to tell the same story (see nearly all these quirky RPGs inspired by Earthbound). To me the issue isn't just their transness since i never mind someone's life experience in their work it's the issues that you can see webcomics and SJW art threads on this site where it's the same transness but scattered across multiple peolpe. all these peolpe whining about their gender or race read off the same script.

That’s how this always worked. Whenever a big thing happens there are a billion of imitators of variable success and quality.

I have an undertale clone in my steam library that I’m pretty sure I alone have played. But on the other hand there have been a bunch of quirky RPG’s that managed to make money as well. Making the next big thing requires a ton of talent, a broad background of inspiration ,probably some experience in the field and timing.

You will always find some amount of junkies that require the next hit of undertaleium and the original game just isn’t doing it for them.

Context? Not that I'm denying it, of course but I wonder why would he hate Cruelty Squad. Isn't his next game supposed to be a prequel to CS anyways? I never played Psycho Patrol R yet since I never seen a good sale for it, but from what I know the creator definitely made the game a lot harder for the sake of being hard rather than for fun unlike in CS.

Either way, what a loser.
