I think someone getting "tricked" into sharing information by obscuring that, and suffering IRL consequences as a result of being sloppy, would be more inhibiting to potential future sharers.
I'm not saying people should go hard on trying to doxx someone, but that anyone sharing should assume that this is going to happen and either make sure that there is no identifying information, or that being unmasked won't impact them.

Whether the amount of skepticism/hostility encountered here makes them inclined to post less is a question only @StarTrak can answer.

Most of my friends and family, once they were washed, we were mostly in charge of our own clothes. (Some had these washers with a dryer function that are terrible, take hours and just steam the clothes but still leave them wrinkled.) Even without a dryer, it doesn’t take long to hang a load of clothes on the radiators and/or a clotheshorse.

Again, with Nick making bank on YouTube at that time, they also could have afforded to have their laundry picked up, completely taken care of and delivered back (several cleaners in their local area provide this). In Manhattan we used to pay 75 cents a pound for this and it was worth every penny before we got a place with in-unit washer and dryer. Weekly cost was around $30 per person. Nick was supposedly spending $3000/month on “snacks” and $15k+ on cocaine, so we know he wasn’t being fiscally conservative. He just chose to prioritize degeneracy at the expense of his children’s well-being.
