These things should come with a self-scrambling button, or be pre-randomized at the factory to make sure that people aren't cheating. You can clearly see patches that are the same color still. If it was truly random, you should see different colors with none touching that are the same.

I've actually done one of these before. It comes with step-by-step instructions for how to solve it. It's still not exactly easy even withe the instructions, but still, solving it doesn't make you a genius. At best it means you're good at following directions.
 
Unless he broadcasts it live there is no way to know that he didn't plug it into a solver and is following those steps. Go live or it doesn't count.
This guy did it in 28 minutes. You couldn't even finish the middle of one side in that time.

Rubix cubes and other twisty puzzles are only impressive to the dumbest of mid wits, it's just applying algorithms over and over. A bigger one just takes more patience, so if you got the tism to solve you at least got some dedication. There's a reason people are hyper focused to speed solving, all it takes is a half hour and any child can learn to solve them.
Hope you enjoy your puzzle since your not going to impress anyone with it. If you didnt shell out for the magnetic version be careful turning so you don't pop it.

Actually you'd have to rig it massively to get a result like that. Randomness is going to have patches of things that seem like there's a pattern to them.

I'm too much of a drooling retard to even solve a 1x1 Rubik cube. If all he does is scramble and solve this thing in his life, then his life would improve.
