Back years ago on FA I followed PK for her Pokemon art and just general pretty colorful stuff. (I don't even remember the weird porn cause, well, it's FA and you just tune it out) I'm normally very much separate-art-and-artist, if I like art then I just try to ignore a bitchy artist.

What made me unfollow her (even though I still enjoyed her art) was some journal post she made. I cannot even remember the topic but it was like this usual mountain-out-of-a-molehill screeching cunt bs. She made such an impression on me that I noped right out of there -- and that's even with zero knowledge of all the shit this thread has compiled about her.

This was probably in 2010. Barely thought of her since, except seeing her little Tumblr artist PSAs now and then, agreeing, and then cringing when I realized who it was from. "Oh yeah, I remember she drew great Pokemon but is a crazy ranting bitch."

I'd say, "Never change, PK," but we already know she hasn't and won't.

Remember when Kid Neon's design used to be kind of cool and unique?

Yeah, me too.

So apparently Lily and Neon have been together for over 2 years despite earlier pages in the same comic indicating this was the first time Neon admitted to liking Lily and the first time they ever did anything sexual together. Also more "it's cool if you don't want sex! I'll stop if you want!" despite Lily forcing herself on Neon.

Not even trying to hide that she's just making this shit up as she goes.

pk's writing gives me such a brain aneurysm. so neon and lily have been dating for 2 years, was the first half of the comic considered foreplay between the two?
"im a compute nerd virgin i like shoving dildos half my size in my vagina"
"oh hey im lily and wanna fuck"
"nooo i love u lily but im just a nerd"

I think this might be approaching Neon telling Lily that Neon is trans for the first time? Which would make a lot more sense than anything else that someone could interpret, I think. The way I read those pages is that they were not sexual together until this comic, and the main reason is Neon being self conscious about being trans.

there is neither stigma against trans people nor is there dysphoria in floraverse, so I don't think Neon would be self conscious about that. also I'm not sure how readers are supposed to know that Neon is trans besides PK telling us so on her twitter(???) to most readers she's a cis chick.

I just thought of something. How can she blame that Duck guy and his little sister of objectifying the female body if she's drawing porn of said female body? Isn't that considered objectifying or are we still in the "it's empowering because I said so" stage?

PK is a pop-feminist just like Erika Moen and most of the people who calls themselves feminists because it's trendy now, they literally do believe that porn is empowering bc "I said so!" they're not critical of anything. it's really obvious with her fetishisation of trans people, I think, and also her not being able to handle critique at all, because everything she does "is feminist because I said so!" anyone who tries to tell her that her actions in fact don't allign with he ideals of the movement she claims to be part of gets labeled an anti-sjw, nazi, terf, mra or whatever the newest boogeyman is. people like her don't get that political movements have definitions and criteria and aren't just a cool label you can claim on the internet. they really believe that their individual claims are more real than the perceptions and definitions of the masses or reality.

This would work, except the whole 'trans' thing exists only as virtue signaling on social media and not in the comic. The only time someone being trans has come up in the comic is when Biff gender changed, and that only happened as a way for PK to spite her fans. Yes, of course the most popular character is fluffy and jolly and good humored! Time to chop off his dick and make him into a skinny cunt!

Glip, just outright draw the rape scene instead of backpedaling.

For real though.

It's way more obvious that she likes non-con when almost every single sex scene starts with "I can stop if you want to!". It just shows that she doesn't know how to make 2 characters do it without 1 of them being uncomfortable or nervous. She's just trying to mask the rape.
asking if it's okay doesn't make it okay. There are plenty of people who don't want to have sex who say "it's okay" just because they don't want the other person forcing themselves on them to get angry.

Kid Neon and Lily hadn't done anything sexual after 2 1/2 years of being a couple? In PK's world? Not a chance in hell.

Why on earth would Neon act like Lily wouldn't be interested in having sex with her if they've been DATING for TWO YEARS? How do you even have a level of insecurity like that, and how would this not have come up for two years? I can understand giving Neon space if she's too nervous to do anything, but Neon implies that she doesn't want to because she's afraid Lily doesn't want to? What kind of fucking logic is that when sex and dating typically go hand in hand, you don't date people and dislike the idea of sex with them barring asexuality, which clearly Lily is not. Lily must be the shittiest partner in the world if Neon is still having THIS level of insecurity about their relationship two and a half years in.

Jesus fucking christ, PK.

And yeah, Neon's design was a lot better when she still had the mohawk. But let's just turn her into white Beleth 2.0 instead.

Does anyone have any pics of PK's old self-insert-- the purple kecleon with the shitty screecher attitude-- in gijinka form? Because from what I remember of it it bears a striking resemblance to Neon's human portrayal... more evidence PK literally makes the same character over and over all the time.

You know, as much as we bagged on PK for the endless eye-searing magenta, I'm really starting to miss it now her color palette's degenerated even fucking further into an endless, boggy morass of more-or-less entirely visually unappealing, vaguely purplish midtones and literally nothing else. The only explanation I can come up with is that working in what is essentially monochrome allows her to spend even less time on a single page, thus allowing her to churn out more art more quickly, which is clearly absolutely all that she cares about now - not quality, not composition, not storytelling, not basic visual coherence, not even whether or not her work is actually remotely pleasant to look at any more. Just throwing as much at the wall as humanly possible in as little time as she can, and hoping that some of it will stick.

Worse, not only is her recent stuff even less pleasant to look at, it's not even very easy to actually visually process any more. The highlights are too gloomy, the shadows are too bright, the eye has no idea where to go and just slides over absolutely everything in complete confusion, unable to work out what it's supposed to be focusing on. Is all of it important? Is none of it? Why is the entire comic taking place under a veil of thick fog? How can she possibly look at this shit and go, yup, perfect, that looks done to me and then slap it up on the Internet to fester? Why would anyone pay her actual money to produce this garbage?

I know, I know: PK is a lazy, self-satisfied hack and anyone in her audience who isn't hate-watching has a touch of the 'tism. But nothing about this is worth subsidizing to the tune of a cup of coffee and a ham sandwich, never mind thousands of dollars a month.
