How the absolute fuck does he keep getting away with it?!

Lolcow luck truly is fucking magical but I feel like Ralph's Curse is always following immediately behind it.

I STRONGLY suspect that the 6 - 9 month inpatient rehab is COURT APPROVED which means it isn't the BS joke rehab that he has gone to before.
These combine jail like discipline and rules combined with drug rehab and psychiatric help.
There is NO "checking himself out" of that facility.

I know we all laugh and enjoy Bossman's antics but being serious the dude was slowly killing himself.
This is the best thing that could happen to him where he gets off the dope and gamba, tries to figure out why he's addicted and they try to get his brain chemistry back to where it needs to be.

It’s cyclic at this point. Unless something drastically changes in his environment, there’s nothing preventing him from getting home after treatment, getting on the computer, turning on the VPN, and then get right back to it. It’s gotta be something he would want to do, and I don’t think he possesses the willpower on his own. He’s gotta find some sort of real purpose, something that satisfies him without simultaneously draining him of everything.

I feel like this thread will be endlessly updated as he treats the county jail/various treatment centers as motels with revolving doors.

Austin's only plot armor is that the state knows prison does not cure addicts who don't want to be cured and housing prisoners is expensive. Their solution is to let him to cool his heels for a bit, hope he decides to change, and then give him the opportunity to change by requiring rehab.

He hasn't proven to be a danger to society and the only people he hurts are his enablers. That is a win/win for the state of Virginia.

Hopefully papa or mama rat has a phone for BMJ when he's released and he does a LiveStream on his way to rehab. Maybe he'll get some crack head pussy there and will flex on all the addicts of how much he's spent/made on coin flips than their drug debts combined.

Nigger he's never ever truly going to remain clean. He doesn't want to, he loves crack and has absolutely nothing else in his life to fill the void. All rehab is pointless, they could rehab him for 5 years and he'll go right back to crack the moment he feels like he can get away with it. He's deluded and thinks he can just not smoke crack eventually and magically all the damage will fix itself, he's said as much in his streams. He doesn't consider the long term consequences as his brain never developed to where he sees beyond his immediate needs.

Also it'll be 6 to 9 weeks since that basically lines up with his next hearing and he's had court approved rehabs which were glorified druggie daycare centers before. Did you not see the stream where he was talking about slushy machines and fell over outdoor furniture while walking around like a mad man? That was at a court approved rehab facility.

Also interesting Ratdad drove Bossmom's car. His car is a black older ford escape, and thats what he's driven every time I've seen him. If I recall Austin saying something about one of the cars being broken awhile ago...and after the "fleeing and eluding in a vehicle" charge he got.

Did Austin fuck up the ratdadmobile trying to flee the popo?

If it's on the higher end of the rehab spectrum, it involves barbed wire. No shit, I saw it myself at Northern State Hospital in Sedro-Woolley when they had a high intensity program there.
Side Note: Pretty fucked up to have a rehab center in a place that was once an old early 20th Century insane asylum. A place where you're supposed to feel better, but the moment you enter you can feel a nasty change in the air.

I saw somebody given the choice of that sort of place or prison and they took what they thought was the easy option.
 
I'm still driving home but I just wanted to clarify two things firstly, Austin appeared clean shaven from what I could see he had a fresh haircut with his side's partially shaved and long hair at the top.

also the rehab from what I could gather is going to be 6 to 9 months. apologies for not including it in the original post
