I wanted to make a subtractive joke about a cheerful girl with an edgy protector (a joke also related to Maria Robotnik and Shadow the Hedgehog.), and since I was a huge PvZ fan, this pops up because I absolutely use Doom Shroom a lot everywhere, even in Endless stages where I used these bad boys and the Cob Cannon to cause the zombie holocaust. It’s also an inside joke abour Crazy Dave and his niece, Patrice; although I’m a diehard old PvZ fan.
