nodoes Chris know about
People should show it to him. The game is bad but because it's Sonichu (sort of) i'm sure he'll like it.
no trolling plansPeople should show it to him. The game is bad but because it's Sonichu (sort of) i'm sure he'll like it.
How am I trolling?no trolling plans
How am I trolling?
(Jesus Christ. Anytime I want to or I want somebody else to interact with Chris it's considered trolling)
Is it so wrong to introduce to Chris something he might be interested in?No weening, then.
What, so he can talk to you like a jerk-off in return? Why botherIs it so wrong to introduce to Chris something he might be interested in?
While I don't think it'd be ween to show him the game, Chris would probably just ignore any attempt to contact him.Is it so wrong to introduce to Chris something he might be interested in?
Was Chris trying to fill CWCville with various Pokemon "types"?
Zapina would certainly follow the trend, being a bug type. What would a dragon type chu even look like?!Okay, so new question. We all know Chris is really into Pokemon, or at least used to be. So here's something that I've occasionally wasted time thinking about. We Chris trying to fill CWCville with various Pokemon "types"? I mean, okay, Sonichu is the original, and he's the electric hedgehog Pokemon, but by the time he introduced Rosechu and the Chaotic Combo he had Wild (grass type), Bubbles (water type), Punchy (fighting type), etc. Do you think he intended to finish the trend and fill CWCville with a great amount of unoriginal palette swaps? And if so, what happened? Did he get bored? Lazy? Crash into slumber? Yeah, these are the kind of dumb things I think about when I get bored...
It's probably inevitable at this point. I would surmise it is no more than 5 years away.At what age will Chris have his heart attack assuming he keeps his fast food diet? What age did Bob his have first heart attack?
Well, I know we've already said Chris is inconsistent, but I'm pretty sure the Sonic fad was on the way out by then. Granted, they still make games and merchandise (I saw a little kid in a Sonic shirt yesterday in fact) but I'm pretty sure that it was past the height of its popularity by the time Harry Potter came out.
I think the Harry Potter issue was because it was "stealing the limelight" from Pokemon, not Sonic (Still pretty stupid, but at least has a little more sense since Pokemon wasnt still as established as Sonic when Harry Potter came out)
And it is said that Null and his fellow Christorians hearts were repaired to 100%So I've been thinking, and I'm going of on a tangent here, but I've been trying to piece together some of Chris's thought processes behind
Another user(can't remember his/her name) brought up how Chris was probably influenced by the fire destroying his LEGO collection, and seeing the The LEGO Movie not long after. I'll admit, when I saw the film myself, I was amazed at the large sets and elaborate animations done entirely with LEGOs. I was with my youngest brother and remembered how we used to create stop animations of our own and I was thinking to myself, "maybe we could create something like that." I believe that we as humans all desire to create things, because we need to create things. We seek approval for creating things from others. Sometimes, when we see things done that we once thought impossible, and we learn that we can do incredible things. Humans throughout the ages have been inspired by works of art because they elicit reactions. It is up for debate as to how a movie about LEGO can be considered a work of art, but it is human expression that did elicit reactions, from Chris and other people. Reactions to artwork can make potentially incredible things happen. And by making incredible things happen, we gain approval, which helps fulfill one of the basic human needs towards self actualization. Now what does this have to do Chris?
Looking back to his formative years, it doesn't seem to me like Borb had very high expectations of Chris. He was a child with a neurological disorder who was born to parents who didn't seem to have many expectations of him. I wonder if some of the more ween-ish captions on some of the photos of young Chris up on the CWCki like "talk you little idiot" might hit a little closer to home now. I wonder if on an unconscious level, Chris may have thought that his parents were ashamed of him/didn't really care about him. Granted, Bob leaving Chris with an abusive babysitter, then trying to teach Chris about the world tells me they were kind of on-and-off about helping him. Chris wanted to gain approval from other people, so when he did things like win a sweepstakes and get congratulated by a local news station, and better yet, hear his parents talk about it being an example of how well he's doing, it's easy to see how empowering it would be for Chris. And so I feel like somewhere along the lines, he equated rewards with approvals, and I think he developed a dependency on them, which sparked some addictive behaviors, and his autism probably didn't help matters.
So Chris wants to make things happen, by making things happen, he expresses a desire to start something, by expressing a desire to start something, he expresses a desire to create, which leads to his "art". Chris wanted to create art in high school because he thought it would get him approval. He creates a CD for Coleslaw, his half brother seems to be approve, but we can bet that he has either long since thrown it away, or it's collecting dust somewhere. Chris wants to make art, and get approval of it, but his fixations on things like Sonic or Pokemon that would only appeal to a niche group of people was a hindrance. I think about how he wrote that the story about how the Pokemon came into our pokeballs, thinking about how many students were probably disinterested and the teacher complimented him to humor him. Then he makes the Sonichu character for a CD project and I bet the teacher only said it wasn't a copyrighted not thinking or knowing that he would ever try to take it further. Chris takes these things and rolls with them thinking that he is creative on the basis that (as far as he knew) no one objected to his work. So then this only fuels his dependency on the approval of others, and then when he gets "shut down" like he did at the awards ceremony where he was "snubbed" for a creativity award, it doesn't bode well for him. Maybe it's because he felt like he was denied of approval that he wanted and thought that maybe because he didn't get it, somehow people would think less of him. But if he thought about it instead of acting on impulse, he probably would realize that he didn't have an imaginary audience.
There is a way to link all of these to issues like his rage towards the trolling, entitlement issues, delusions of grandeur, and etc., but I don't know the right way to go about it. There are probably several things I missed, and maybe hearing input from all of you might give me a few ideas. These were some random Chris thoughts that I wanted to get out while they were still fresh in my mind. Is anyone able to see where I'm trying to go with this?
