The Last Night is an upcoming cyberpunk game that was announced at this year's E3. It was also developed by someone who formally supported GamerGate when it was a thing back in 2014.

Twitter proceeded to shit its pants in anger.

Gamergate at it again with the making games and daring to question why so little women have interest in tech. It's absolutely disgusting. They could hire poor Zoe Quinn -- sure, she might not be able to draw or program or model or compose, but she will be one mean social media person your company really needs.

Do any of these people know the ultimate secret as to why there are no women in tech either, or are they just doubling down out of insecurity because even they know that defending fucking journalists for career gains isn't the best hill to die on

Honestly, this is my favorite part of what's happened to the Antis after GG ended: watching just how far their influence has fallen, in real-time.

In 2014, Quinn would have been able to lock down discussion of her misdeeds with ease, such were her connections. She was able to ratchet down criticism of her everywhere from Reddit to 4chan with ease. Cut to 2017, she's synonymous with shufflegate and the UN Women CVAWG report. She's a fucking living joke, barely above Brianna Wu.

They screech because the dev supported Gamergate. And they say gamergaters are salty because of some game being made by people they don't like. While they complain about GG, everyone else will most likely have fun playing the game itself.

While they could harp on about the reason being harassment, one could guess the reason why you wouldn't hear about women in tech is most likely because not many people actually care about (at least in the sense of caring about more important things to an individuals). Besides, some of these people are white knights and Twitter followers, if they die on the hill, it's because they want to white knight someone part of their group of followers or whatever, especially since it would get one those Twitter likes and such.

Just some salt to share.

Game is terrible because it's shame to devs (nvm other games that are much worse than having a dev that supported internet drama over video games)

The salt may as well flow for a while since everyone in this may as well be sperging over GamerGate even if the dev most likely makes no reference to it in his game.
