The article contains the video of the black man video recording from his house with the woman crying that her "wife" was shot and she didn't know what to do. And that she has a 6 year old in day care. The person also claims she wasn't part of the protest.

I am starting to believe that the video is true. The black home owner had posted an earlier video showing what was going on at the incident. I don't know if it is true that she wasn't part of the protest. Why would her partner be there so fast and not be in the car? Following behind in the parade being led?

What about the picture of Nicole Good at a pro-immigrant rally? Is that really her, or just a look-a-like?

When you consider how quickly they've been trained up, and that there's not really regulation around minimum training etc. they have to receive compared to police, it's not surprising. They're going to be thrown under the bus just as soon as the popularity continues to tank, and at that point the fact that they don't necessarily have the special immunities which regular law enforcement has will be... I don't want to say 'common knowledge,' because as soon as something is out of the focal lens it's totally forgotten, but certainly more apparent.

It's definitely an interesting scene, though. A woman who thinks she's a hero like those one she sees on the TV, a guy who escalates the situation by reaching into a car to try to drag her out of it, a guy who clearly snap-reacted, and absolutely no-one ran off or panicked at the sound of three shots. The camera didn't even flinch: these people were excited to be getting this on video: it could be their big break!

That the one woman was allowed to get as close as she did to the wreck is absolutely insane. Not a one of those guys had any idea of what to do in the situation.

Do you mean a federal law enforcement agent attempting to detain someone inside a vehicle that can be used to kill other federal law enforcement agents - and potentially bystanders - because she was impeding a federal law enforcement action? Do you also mean a guy who shot at someone trying to run him over as the one who snap-reacted? That was a 100% justified shoot and she brought her death on herself.

From the video it appears that rather than obeying a lawful order to get out of her vehicle she instead began to reverse and then hit the gas even though there was an officer in front of her vehicle. It’s pretty close between the officer getting hit and the shots, but it looks like she was shot at the point it looked that she was going to cause immense severe physical harm to that officer. Therefore, it was justified.

That’s the defense. If the state brings charges it’ll get removed to fed court. If I was on that jury I would find not guilty.
 
Remember people, if for some reason anyone feels bad about this woman getting killed, remember that she chose to risk her life for no good reason and permanently neglect her little daughter as a result. I try not to get into any sort of fight because I know that if I get into trouble, it would hurt the hearts of my parents, my sister, my brother-in-law, and etcetera. These people, on the other hand, would abandon family for a cause that isn't worth fighting for, let alone neglecting the connections they already have. Value the people who still care about you, because they will feel the pain of your loss.

There is a reason you don't see regular cops do this very often, especially not when it's some roastie who's sitting there communicating with them. In a vehicle which is not in park.

You know, maybe there's a reason that cops generally want you to turn the vehicle off when they pull you over. Because turning the vehicle back on, putting it into drive, and flooring it is a lot more work than just flooring it. But that's that fancy training-talk, I know: no actual application.

One thing that will be looked at in the court are these recordings slowed down, such that you can notice that he's out of the way of the vehicle by the time he discharges the gun.
Several shots but there's just the one in the windshield - weird! I mean, he must be so accurate that the second shot, coming a second after the first, bends through space-time to go through the windshield in the exact same spot despite the vehicle in motion. Remarkable!

Your Honor, I'm afraid you're an internet commentator. He's not going to be tried federally, but the state will obviously begin a prosecution against him.

It is unlikely that qualified immunity applies here, and there is an open question of whether the federal government will send an actual defense attorney to represent this guy or just some dumb bimbo to gesticulate in front of cameras.
