"Pedophile" means anyone sexually attracted to children, and a 17 year old is legally a child, or a 15 year old in states where that is the AoC. So someone attracted to children in that range can accurately be called either "hebephiles" or "ephebophiles" or, as I prefer to call them, "pedophiles." And I'd consider some adult of advanced age diddling a 16 year old to be that, too, even if it might not be that legally.
