The "why does KF lean right" thread reminded me, I pretty much 100% believe the theory that most, if not all, woke and SJW modern liberal politics started as a psyop. It just works too elegantly.
I could see that.
One thing that frustrates me about some things I see leftists blathering on about, is they are able to notice a lot of problems we have in the country. But they are completely settled on what I considered completely incorrect solutions to the issues. Like communism for instance. I have a lot of things I could say about it that are outside the scope of this thread, but they are convinced this system, that has a lot of fairly obvious pitfalls is the only way to fix things, so they stop thinking about it critically after. And they generically blame capitalism.
I wonder how different things would be if they kept thinking about it a bit more, instead of thinking something came up by some jewish wierdo, that fails every time before people are even able to implement it (thus they cope that their has never been true communism).
Other than that, they do generally make leftism look very unappealing. I know in the past I sympathized a lot more with the left than the right. Now I still think similarly to how I did back then, but I find leftists completely unbearable. So I think their is something to that.
The 'right wing' is also a PsyOp.
I definitely think 4chan, and a lot of the anonymous image boards were flooded with agents and foreign actors that wanted to push as radical of a belief system as the leftists were pushing. And looking at the current state of politics in America.. I would say they were successful.
It seems like people are more divided than ever. Just viewing the other side as the enemy. I know politics were contentious in the past. But now it seems like people are more likely to look at the other side as a genuine enemy, instead of a fellow countryman that you may strongly disagree with. A lot of leftists are retards that have genuinely been convinced they are fighting off the SS. The right is doing the same partially as a reaction to the vitriol they get from the left. It's hard to not when they are constantly yelling about how you need to be punched, or killed, or how you are a fascist because you think illegal immigrants need to be deported.
I think what got the right to be as extreme in the beginning was probably a psyop, or at least that played into it. Then it took on a bit of a life of it's own. Then it's pretty easy to show people the worst looking things people on the right do to make them think they're actual heckin nazis. I know for sure that same tactic is used with the left. You will see the worst cases shown on the news, and in right wing spaces to try painting the left in the worst light possible. I think as much of that is a psyop of some kind, I think it's also something that's just taken on a life of it's own (like I think most good psyops probably do). because both sides do want to make the other look as bad as possible naturally.
anyway. while all the left vs right bullshit is going on. Nothing changes for the better. We just get to spend mental bandwidth ignoring most of the ways the country is materially getting worse, to think about how much of a problem the other side is. Don't think about the housing market, or the move from a culture of owning and repairing things, to a culture that rents, and replaces things (because that makes the line go up). Or how you can constantly be tracked by your own volition through your phone, and the way you post everything on social media sites that can track you even if you aren't using their app (and the phones can and do record everything pretty much always), don't think about how much money we spend on foreign nations, or how much money politicians are receiving from special interest groups, and lobbyists to sell you out. Oh, and if you don't like the way the stock market controls everything you're a commie leftist, this is merica we just care about corporations here. Not people. Don't think about the reason the government was incentivized to allow the flood of immigrants in the first place, keeping wages low, instead of increasing them with inflation. Nah just argue with eachother about it.
I think the current immigration thing is a peak example of this now that I think about it. People on the left in pretty much every sense SHOULD be as on board with deporting the illegal immigrants as the right is. But why aren't they? Almost everything I've seen the leftists say about this, have all been complete non-arguements. Basically they just say it's racist, or have some nonsense ideology about borders or something. BUT a lot of people on the right act in a way that helps reinforce their illogical reaction to it. There are people that do just want to get rid of the mexicans, and indians because they don't like brown people. But that really isn't the main reason it's so important to reverse the flood of immigrants. America removing as many migrants as possible is good for everyone in the country. Not because of the bullshit talking points about race. But the immigrants are benificial to the corportations in the country to keep labor costs as low as possible. To allow them to stop offering benifits and other things people used to expect an employer to provide. It would also make things leftists want more plausible, like providing healthcare for citizens, and other social services. There is really no good arguement on the left for allowing millions of immigrants to come here. The only possible thing I could think of is marxist accelerationists might want a flood of immigrants to escelate tensions in the country.
