At least you're tried your best than pander to the lowest-priced common demoninator. Do you used to be a fan of his "work" before you realize how big his ego got because of popularity?
Yep. Was a fan for two years! And I didn't quit being a fan because ego; Idc what the developer is like in most cases. I quit because the game was making pretty much no progress and what progress it did make became shittier and shittier. The fact that Alex is a total ass just made me want to leave all the more.

If would've been easy if he simply ask someone to help his work or make a small but functional indie teams (like what skullgirls did with their company), but no. Because asking questions about helping that doesn't involve around concept art would led your email to be delete.

He wanted to be like Toby Fox, a one man developer.
It's funny because Toby wasn't a one-man developer, and actually listened to criticism and suggestions. If he learned how to take criticism and learn from his mistakes, this thread probably wouldn't have gotten anywhere near as long as it has.

Did the first one. I'm much better at drawing on paper than the computer so forgive me for the shading (which was meant to be done like a quickish sketch thing anyway). So, I've fixed those tiny ass ankles, too thicc thighs, potato-shaped face, and tiny forehead syndrome. I also decreased her boob size and gave her an actual high-school uniform (albeit, color changed because admittedly in anime the uniforms tend to be different colors than the standard "real-life" uniforms). I couldn't bring myself to give her that. Psychotic-ass default neutral expression because seriously, anyone who saw someone as flat-faced as her would probably avoid the hell out of her/gossip about how creepy she looked which would contradict Alex's "she appears to be normal, and acts normal to the other students" mentality. I'll do Osana next when I have the free time.
EDIT: I see that the "original" concepts were better, but they still had hella short skirts and kind of disproportionate waist to hip ratios. That and they all had the same body type, so I'll still do these for variation, because not all girls are cookie-cutter same shape.

To be honest, I prefer if she had like the shirt out rather than tucked in because that skirt literally takes up the whole body. It's okay to keep the skirt though, just move it down for the shirt to get out more, but that's just me.

And meanwhile Alex does all this stupid shit with making these videos with little to no effort, constantly streaming, he has no progress on the game. Yeah that's a no brainer, but you'd think he would stop posting videos and just work on the game for a long time so we can have more things to do in a fucking "build". I wouldn't be surprised if he made a video about my comments and this thread concerning all the "false and negative things said about me becuz Kiwi is MEAN MEEAAN FRUITY PEEBLES BULLY ;((" in the future. Seeing that he tried to buy more time with that recent video and then uploading it, it's still the same quality as before with just reused footage and insert art here and make it go zoom. Which again, would take just a day given his free time. A whole month playing games and making like one to two videos a month while no progress is being made on YandereSim.

WHY COULDN'T THEY BE IN COLLEGE?
Because everything Alex does is basically a cheap derivative of Japanese culture. You see a lot of anime series focused on high school for several reasons, all of which say something about him.

1) Some series are for kids and have a high school setting so that they can relate. The worst of high school melodrama is basically Alex's level of emotional maturity, so he can relate to that. If they were in college, the characters would have to act more like adults, and he can't write that.

2) Some series are designed for adults who look back on their time in high school fondly. You've probably heard how rough the Japanese work environment can be and how bad the happiness statistics are for Japan, so there are adults who view high school as a time of relative freedom and happiness in their lives. But Alex doesn't really pick up on the fact that these series are idealized fantasies because his idea of a hard day of work is streaming less than usual.

3) And some series are just school fetish porn. This is one of Japan's things, just like any other country has its own particular tendencies. But since Alex's understanding of Japan is limited to a few animu, in his mind this isn't just a genre of porn, it's what Japan really is, all the time.

So I would bet money that the idea of them being in college never even crossed his mind. Alex mostly just regurgitates cliches he's seen, so he can't really imagine anything else. If he thought about the high school setting at all, it was just about how it fits into his fetishes.

Well let's face it Japan rarely has a positive portrayal about college (seriously, think of any anime and manga that ever mentioned college or university in a positive light), So it would make sense that Alex would stick to the old cliche instead of researching more.

Which is ironic, because any decent IRL research of colleges in Japan indicates they are in some ways more fun than their American counterparts if you are willing to be a little frugal by Japanese standards and learn the language.

Let's not forget that alex always felt like he wasted his high school years, so he uses the game as a symbolic way to make up for it

If you have missed it, the original designs were more human. If I remember right the artist ditched him and he had to change to the hentai one

the old artist made the right decision

also @IngusNSFW i don't think that's panties you're seeing, i think that's supposed to be the white outline (emphasis on "i think")

edit: who wears stockings like these in real life?

I tried to base it off the high school uniform (1st one on the second set) in this picture that someone posted http://gaijinrider.altervista.org/pix/seifuku_10.jpg but you're right, I think I accidentally placed the skirt a bit too high.
