You could really see it in the "nuclear" stream. He was positively giddy to shit on LTG, same with when he talks about Wings. It's like when he played WWEC on stream, you can tell when he's happy it's not hard to see given how miserable he usually is. He was having the time of his life, he loves it, he absolutely needs to feel better than others to feel good about himself.

He really ties his pride to being labeled "Master" in SF6. People need to remind him in chat that "Master" is just the minimum anyone playing the game semi actively should have and that if he wants real recognition(the thing he desperately craves) he should be shooting for "Grand Master/Ultimate Master/Legend" ranks.

As it stands he is just sitting on the Rookie Master bracket, and no current or former FGC Pro should be proud of that.

  • Rookie (0–800 LP): No LP loss on defeat; win streaks boost progress.
  • Iron to Gold: Win streak bonuses and one-time rank-down protection; cannot drop leagues due to losses.
  • Platinum to Diamond: No win streak bonus; possible demotion, but one-time rank-down protection applies.
  • Master: No win streak bonus; cannot be demoted; progression shifts to Master Rate (MR).
After reaching Master (25,000 LP), players enter the Master League, which uses Master Rate (MR) instead of LP. This system functions like a traditional Elo rating, requiring more consistent wins to climb.
  • Master: 1,500 MR
  • High Master: 1,600 MR
  • Grand Master: 1,700 MR
  • Ultimate Master: 1,800 MR
  • Legend: Top 500 players globally (rank resets every 3 months)

At the very end of the stream Phil finally can't take it anymore and CRASHES OUT over Asmon King Snaking him (swallowing him from behind!)




He has sounded multiple times like he was going to cry today, ever since he saw the Asmon reaction.
 
Damn if Phil keeps up on being such a pissbaby he might wear out his (*checks day of the week*) Wednesday underwear from pissing himself so much from being so fucking whiny.
