Thank you for posting this! I found myself wondering what PG was up to tonight as I was browsing through threads I hadn't read in a week or so. She better show up or they will issue a warrant! And honestly, with Purple Glitter, court isn’t just a legal proceeding! It’s speed dating with subpoenas. Last time she was doodling hearts around her lawyer’s initials, this time she’s probably already picturing her new counsel as Mr. Right: candlelit dinners, matching briefcases, and a honeymoon at the courthouse cafeteria. Forget ‘innocent until proven guilty!' PG runs on ‘romantic until proven delusional.’ Can’t wait to see how long it takes before she’s planning their wedding registry at Staples.
I'll check back in closer to the date! I was so close...

Emily changed her plea to Guilty and has been placed on probation with a suspended sentence on Count II. Hopefully this is a lesson for her.

Five years probation and 160 hours of community service! That's a lot and now she's a felon. She's managed to keep her crazy tamped down while this was hanging over her head, but the only way she's going to make it five years is if her family and probation officer keep a very tight collar on her.

She was a funny cow, but I'd rather she turned her life around and find peace. This is her chance.

Thoughts and prayers for whichever charity ends up facilitating her community service. Hope there's no male authority figures there because this will happen again.

OK, place you bets now. How long will it take her to break her probation? Also, I notice she put in an Alford Plea which, as I understand it, means she technically still thinks she's innocent (I'm wiling to be corrected on that by a Burgerlander).

Come on Emily. Come back to Youtube and explain to everyone how you've been done dirty by the courts. I bet Monty would like some emails about it.

In a nutshell, an Alford plea essentially says “I acknowledge there is probably sufficient evidence to convict me, so I’m taking this plea without admitting guilt.” I doubt she’ll make it 5 years on supervision (or even 2.5 years and a request for early discharge).

Tiny updates from March and April (I miss our Queen).

Not a law expert, so please correct if needed: Internet search says April's update could be a result of something as small as not hitting a set number of community service hours or not making a payment in a timely manner, which seems to have happened regarding the jail costs already - some minor infraction, nothing exciting like licking a lawyer's windows or anything. *sigh*

Where I am (different state to PG), a citation is usually a traffic or littering ticket, maybe a low level noise complaint.
