Actually no. They establish very quickly that the world of FF14 is a very dangerous one. Eorzea is a continent over-run with monsters, constantly under attack by the Garlean Empire, and there's plenty of corruption among the leaders when there's not outright assassination and betrayal going on.
Then again, I actually paid attention to the game I spent my own money on.

I really want a journalist to look into this one. Nothing will shut down Wu's Patreon scam faster than proving she's essentially stealing money in a way that even her biggest supporters can't deny. If this were reported by a reputable news outlet/respected journalist, she would fall out of favor fast in the social justice community.
Of course, no one is going to do this just like no one is going to out her past.

It's classic fraudster behavior. An expert doesn't remind people that he or she is an expert. The credentials stand on their own. Like with most playground bullies, Wu's overconfidence and arrogance are there to overcompensate for reality. She's a fraud. She knows she's both a fraud and a not-so-great person, deep down. The Twitter persona allows her to play the role of the woman she fantasizes being. Most days she probably convinces herself that the persona is the reality.

Let's break down Wu's arguments on how the ACA's loss is hurting trans people:
1. Health care: The ACA won't fund their sex changes anymore, they'll have to pay for it out of their own pocket. That does not kill them, nor does it bar them from seeking help for non gender related health problems.
2. Basic high school education: Come again? They aren't barred, they just won't be able to force schools to give them special bathrooms, which is fair enough.
3. Bathrooms: Penises and their female equivalents work the same way regardless what gender you call yourself, so this is BS. Assholes also work the same as well.

I propose that we demolish all public and private buildings and rebuild them with gender neutral bathrooms to appease 5% of 0.3% of the population. All at taxpayer expense obviously.

I like taking nice pictures, but I don't do enough to even want to call myself a hobbyist. Depth of Field is some 101 level shit.
