Ken Paxton pushed for digital ID in Texas and it's thanks to Free Speech Coalition v. Paxton that digital ID is now fully constitutional in all of America.

I have more than enough reason not to trust him on those grounds alone.

Who else is running cause we really don't want to lose Ohio to this fucking Jeet.

The deadline to file to run as a gubernatorial candidate in Ohio has past. Outside of Casey Putsch, the only other major figures in the Republican primary that aren't Vivek Ramaswamy are Heather Hill and Renea Turner. Even with that in mind, the odds of the general election being a match-up between Ramaswamy and Acton are extremely high considering how much backing they have from the state Republican and Democratic parties respectively.

The problem isn't RINOs or really entirely the Ohio GOP. The problem in this case, sadly, really is Trump - he promised Vivek the governor's nomination as a reward for his "loyalty" and leaned on the state GOP to clear the path for him.

Vivek of course is an object lesson on the limits to Trumps obsession with loyalty and paying back perceived owed favors, because as a political candidate Vivek's an extremely fake, tone deaf charisma vacuum that can't stop shoving his fucking foot in his mouth.
