I always get triggered when he cracks open eggs by punching the piece of shit like a caveman
This absolutely drives me crazy too. He acts like he's so smart because when you hit two eggs together, only one of them breaks. But that's stupid because he doesn't know which of the two will break, so it takes more time!

Anyways, yesterday he uploaded a recipe for "Parmesan Garlic Cauliflower Mashed Potatoes". There are no potatoes in the recipe! What the recipe does contain is Heavy Whipping Cream (about 2 cups), a stick of butter, a cup of milk and a block of Parmesan cheese. He's so happy with how he's eating such healthy cauliflower that he says this is how he's gonna make "mashed potatoes" from now on. Also at the very end of the video he double dips his tasting spoon and tells us how he's taking the bowl to a BBQ later.

In regards to these Dollar Store steaks, they're actually really expensive. $1 gets you 3.8oz of steak, which contains about 1/3rd added water weight. You can't even get a good sear on the dollar store steaks because of how much water is in them, also they sit in bromaline (found in pineapples, used as a tenderizer) for so long that they fall apart. This is about $6 a pound. You can go to your grocery store and get a really nice fresh steak for $8 a pound, maybe $5 if it's on sale.

Depending where you live, it's entirely possible to get some round roast or chuck roast, sometimes at prices like a couple bucks a pound. It's a matter of shopping around. And as for the pineapple as a tenderizer thing, you can get an actual fucking pineapple for a buck or two! And yes, just using actual pineapple slices to tenderize is delicious! This is a great way to make a ham, and plus, you get to eat the rest of the pineapple. Do not discount pineapple as something to eat if you have only experienced it as a horrible pizza topping or something that comes out of a can.

However, do NOT ever eat one of these dollar store "steaks." If you ever get sent to a gulag as a political prisoner, and they offer you a choice between eating one of these things and death, choose death.

I've had the Dollar Tree "steak" (PL: I'm a poor person on foodstamps, which is why I am so appalled at how Jack could buy expensive stuff only for it to go to waste.) and they are horrible as fuck. They contain "meat glue" and it's really just different, inferior meats glued together. You can't even get a good char or brown on them and they are dry, stringy and fatty and it tastes like fucking dog food, which wouldn't surprise me if it's the same kind of meat they put in dog food. And it' not even visually appealing either, it looks anemic and like it's weeks old or some shit.

the thing that really gets me (aside from the fact that jack actually claimed that he can't wait to get more dollar tree steaks) is that he ate the fucking thing rare

like who in their right mind would think it's ok to eat a $1 steak rare?

I was considering getting one or more of these just to try them, not that I'd have expected much. But still, dollar steak. How bad could it be? As soon as I saw this absolute pleb Jack giving it a good review, I knew it was complete shit. If you watch other reviews of this abomination, you'll notice Jack is the only person who doesn't say it's flat out horrible. Most reviewers don't even finish it.

Did we ever figure out what is up with Jack's health? He had multiple surgeries earlier this year.

if i remember correctly, he made a video where he basically blamed his kidney stones on the low quality of the city's tap water or something along those lines

sure, i've heard there are links between tap water and kidney stones, but when it comes to a guy who consistently eats as terribly as jack does i have a hard time believing that tap water was the cause

Jack falls for gimmicks, that's why his kitchen is full of "As Seen On TV" crap. He spent all this money on a water system, all the comments say he fell for a scam and instead of looking into anything, he just calls all the commenters wrong and defended the company.
He's tried every fad diet, I think he's on Paleo now (he loves it, allows him to eat as much fat as he wants) and was drinking bone broth and doing p90x a few years ago.
