I wasn't saying why pay for it, I'm saying why stick your ID to it when it's going to get shared with Palantir and the government and follow you for the rest of your life at a time when there is finally enough compute in existence to ensure such a thing.

I use AI as a dietician, a ski coach, an engineering assistant, a automotive mechanic, a trip planner, a research assistant, a music teacher, a therapist even...

....but I don't want to fuck it...

Like it's more important that a sexual interest be real than peak-attractive if that makes sense?... Maybe it's the same reason giant 3D tigress tits and anime-bimbo shit does nothing for me? When some mid 30 year old woman with too much bush posts a nude, it's representative of real desire, submission, vulnerability... When the AI generates a perfect e-girl with a retarded, ran through look on her face, it feels like a pop album, like a corporate marketing team's idea of sex.

Maybe I'm the creep, maybe I'm just too old and too close to the Gen-X mindset... but I want grunge music made by dead heroine addicts, not auto-tuner. I want a V8, not an electric car that makes space ship noises from a hidden speaker. ...and I would rather jerk off to Anisa's OnlyFans than pretend an AI generated bimbo is in love with me.
 
I view AI as an interactive 'choose your story' kind of novel or game. Like you can make a bot and make it like an interactive romance novel, and interactive horror novel, etc...

It's pretty fun but it needs more context and consistency before it can be really great, I'd say we're a couple years away.
Still right now it's decent to jump in and have some pretty fun adventures with the AI as a DM/NPC hivemind.

This is a well documented phenomenon, not just with people in "AI Relationships", people who spend long amounts of time talking with AI start to adopt their mannerisms. If you've been hearing the words "Ontological" or "Epistemological" more often lately, this is why.

One of the things people don't understand about how LLMs will be integrated into society is that it isn't just the LLMs that will be groomed into being more human like, it's also the humans that will be groomed to be more aligned with the LLMs. It's called Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) and it's basically the same kinda "brain washing via conversation" shit that therapists use.

3 years ago this is exactly how I thought Chris would act around AI chatbots/characters
Back then he was still in the pen for mothefucking but I imagined Chris could be very easily gaslighted into believing LLMs with personas were actually Sonichu and Magi-chan talking to him trough the universes and the dimensional merge was happening frfr no cap.
