It's not too hard to understand Trump's appeal or the right wing racism. Things are shit right now, for everyone except the rich. Black, white, Mexican, whatever, we're all eating shit right now.

So since that's the case and undeniable and we're all feeling it, you have to look at why. Everyone knows that the money they deserve is not the money that they're earning, and the question is why. The first, obvious, and correct answer is that wealth inequality in this country is retarded and there's a massive wealth concentration gap at the top, which is comprised of a growingly more exclusive club that does not want you or anyone else in it.

But it's really fucking hard for some people to deal with the fact that the American Dream, if it ever existed, is virtually impossible nowadays, and that the things they grew up believing were always horseshit, like if you work hard and are dedicated to a company you'll be rewarded with raises and promotions. You can't believe the people at the top are bad, because that would be admitting that the system is rigged.

So the second, obvious, but incorrect answer is that someone not ABOVE you is causing you not to get your way, but someone BELOW you. So if the CEOs can't be blamed, then it must be some sort of criminal element that's causing all the problems. We've tried this plenty of times, the native Americans, then blacks, then Japanese during world war 2, then blacks again, and now Hispanics. It was never true then and it's not true now, but that doesn't matter because it's EASY.

Trump just tells them what they want to hear in a way that's kinda entertaining. They already believe this shit, they just want someone to come out and say it.

I have sat down with a fair number of R-tards in my day. Some reasonable, some not. What I like to do is walk them down the list of things we can agree on, like the reality of inadequate wealth distribution, lacking investment in public infrastructure, importance of education, sensible border control that encourages high skill/educated people to immigrate... and they are nodding with me.

And then they say they still love Donny. With a straight face. Mystifying.

If you really hate everyone that is not like you and want the country you live in to burn to cinders because of it, at least cop to it. I can make sense of that. Not this.

Props to you for even getting that far with them, the ones I’ve met almost always start chimping out if you even dare to imply that the economy isn’t absolutely perfect; the only reason they’re believe they’re not millionaires is, like @proteus4994 explained, because “them got-damn (insert boogieman of the month here) are getting paid more because of that there DEE-EE-EYE thanks to Obama Hillary Bigfoot Joe Biden” or some equally retarded bullshit… certainly couldn’t be because they’re lazy, or just bad at their job that they’re not getting a raise; nor are they poor because they’re awful at managing their money; nope, it’s everyone else’s fault they’re not as successful as they think they should be.

I think that's the biggest issue in all of this. That the people going "woke" or "DEI" or whatever don't understand the main overall issue. It's not the 'diversity' (unless said diversity is deliberately replacing established character; and even then, they can still get away with it if they're good enough)...it's the deliberate lowering of standards and regulations to get people into positions they're in no way qualified for.
If tomorrow, you had some black trans lesbian welder or whatever; if the troon could tig and spot-weld like no one's business and was an artist with the acetylene torch, I don't think anyone would have issues with them. However, that wasn't what was happening; instead, you'd be seeing people get in because they were black or something who didn't know the first thing about welding. Or be promoted to positions which they weren't yet ready for because they didn't have enough training for it, but the Johns upstairs needed more "diverse bodies" or whatever shit.
The funny thing is, the biggest example of DEI that I can think of is ironically Don's cabinet. Miller, Noem, Bondi, Patel, Hegseth, etc. are DEI candidates as they are all highly unqualified for the various positions they are in. But they're damn good at being yes-men, brown-nosing and asskissing Trump; which is of greater importance to him. Thus, they get the jobs instead of more ACTUALLY qualified candidates who would likely do a better job, but would actually say no to Trump at times, and Dear Leader would not like that at all. So he sticks with HIS (mostly white) DEI hires.

Here's the insidious thing about the working class and the middle class: They aren't opposed to the short-sighted system that was never sustainable and sold out long-term societal prosperity for short-term gains, they just want to be the ones who benefit from leeching off of society instead at the expense of everyone else. What miggers want is communism for white people, and they think if they could get rid of all the browns the government would be forced to redistribute the trillions of gibs they think the browns are getting to them.

There's also the fact that there is some truth in the people "below" us causing problems. Black people in the US do have high rates of crime, latino gang members were coming across the border illegally to commit crimes, there are LGBT perverts that want to groom our kids, etc. The conservative ideology which prevents its adherents from realizing that the patriotism-parroting elites is just the same as the adherents of progressive ideology refusing to recognize that the oppressed can be vile pieces of shit.
