For me the sad thing is that if he put effort into his lifestyle and health, he could still look like he does on the left. Wrinkle or two here and there maybe, but hey that's aging. Of course, this is Phil so he's only gonna get worse from here.

what a fat, greasy idiot. if i saw Leanna taking a picture of that guy hugging a pokeball i would probably think it was some creepy old perv trying to hit on random young girls by preying on passers by near the kiddy decorations---not a common law married couple. poor Leanna. i wonder how she feels knowing when she goes to sleep each night that she'll never get those 6 years back.

Awful, probably. Though she did eventually wake up and ditch his sorry ass, so she should take solace in that. Lot of women (and men) in shit relationships that either never wake up to how awful it is, or don't have the courage to go through with ending it.

i feel like it's really common for esp. younger girls without much experience with relationships to get charmed by some guy's confidence, mistaking it for maturity, and end up never getting over it no matter how shitty things get. it's kind of textbook-ish that a dysfunctional and lopsided relationship would end because of the younger woman being exposed to all sorts of new experiences and possibilities and realizing that she can do better for herself when she really entertains those possibilities. (Just think about high school sweethearts who try and "make it" through college but ultimately can't.) I really think it's a classic growing pains scenario.

The really sad and creepy part is that Phil tried his best to stunt this process and make sure Leanna would never have the life experiences or social network necessary to really make herself question how "great" her life with Phil was by uprooting her from her family and moving her across the country. if he was slightly more functional and she didn't have to get a job, his plan might have worked.

He's certainly more miserable and lethargic now, but he also looks less like a thumb with the way he styles himself, if he got some exercise it'd do him a world of good. Both his attitude and his health/looks would improve and I can only imagine that being a boon for someone wanting to cultivate an identity as a successful streamer.

But given that he's famous for his poor personality, he'd probably end up worse off for being more likeable.

I tried super hard to get banned today and I didn't. I've been trying to convince people to visit other streamers who are playing the same game and support people who are giving better viewing experiences.
