As a repeat contributor to the thread, I tend to agree. There's gotta be some kind of milk. Don't get me wrong, if I see a username or info that seems interesting I look into it but I tend not to throw it up unless I find embarrassing porn stuff, obsessive retard behavior, they're an annoying asshole... or more likely some combination of the three.

I see it as a form of gatekeeping and indirectly protecting näive or dumb people from posting here. I carefully chose my username, created a one-off proton email and purged EXIF data from my avatar to make my account because of what I read while lurking, however, in retrospect I'm thankful for the warnings because of the increasingly tyrannical speech policies in mine and others countries.
