Sonichu Sonichu drawing for sale

Just on a whim, I looked up eBay and income taxes, and now I'm curious as to how much art Chris would be able to produce before he would have to legally declare the profit as income. I mean, I know he'd never make that much art or money, but just kinda curious about it.

If he makes more than $25 thousand a year, he'd have to pay income tax. If he makes more than two grand from this auction (right!), I think he'd get docked 1 Tugboat dollar off of every 2 dollars he made.

BTW, notice that Chris' words in the listing where about if you didn't do the Buy It Now, that the package could have an......ahem......"accident". So, since the current bid had outpaced the BIY, does that mean Chris will think he's being a clever little shit and sending it in the most awful way possible, thinking that his "But you didn't use the Buy It Now button" will absolve him of any liability?

I might actually consider buying a Blake/Bubbles print if he were to make one.

Also I don't think even Chris is needy enough to take the money and run, after all Sonichu art probably doesn't cost anything for him to make so he really wouldn't have anything to gain by not sending the Sonichu art. But then again, I'm thinking logically.

The guy with 111 feedback is trolling hard too. All the bids between $33 and $49 were him driving up the price, then bailing. It might even be Chris himself on a different account.
Not enough LEGO-purchases on that particular user though... But it was a fuckload of anime and nerdy stuff... and kitchenware, Chris really isnt best friends with kitchenware, if you remember?

Ah, okay, didn't know you could see their bidding history, too.

Unless the kitchenware was the Keurig....

I know he supposedly ripped up and stuffed SheCameForCWC in an envelope but that would be the holy grail of CWC art. I bet it would fetch thousands.

Would you want the original, or a new version? Just curious. I don't know if I would ever have pride in hanging it up on my wall, but I think I would want a more detailed one because why the Hell not?

"Yes! All the individual hairs on the bodies!"

Do you think Chris is planning to run off with the money, without sending?

We all know there is only one place he would run off to with that money...

Style: Pop Art

I guess he sees himself as the next Andy Warhol!

Seriously though he probably doesn't know what pop art is even though what he created technically is art based on popular culture.
