With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

No, S4 was killed because they were in the Season 2 basement and there was a singular point of entry and exit which is against building code now, they needed to put emergency egress windows in or a bilco door and it would have been fine, they also would have been ok if they just stuffed the fish into B3 or the lounge. There needs to be multiple points of egress for any room no matter what and Rhode Island is zealous about enforcement on this issue after The Station fire lead to hundreds being killed.

Weird how they weren't sticklers about it in S2 even though production was living in the basement at the time and the same code violation would apply. Oh well. I'm sure S4 had nothing at all to do with the town being pissed off about the chickens thing (which happened after S2 ended) and they were looking for a way to shut the show down.

sure sorry forgot the details but my point was its more related to occupation codes that any kind of "filming" permit.

It always seems to come down to selective enforcement rather than what’s actually legal or permitted. If certain people decide they don’t like you, they’ll bend every rule they can find to make life difficult. Projects like Fish Tank end up constantly battling critics and busybodies who are quick to complain the moment something offends their sensibilities. Once someone decides to take issue, it can feel nearly impossible to change their mind.


Meanwhile, similar content created by individuals in other contexts barely draws a second glance. The inconsistency is what makes it so exhausting.

this stupid faggot has been doing this shit FOR YEARS and its not just the show, he also fucks with literally everyone fishtank related.
i am MATI at this stupid faggot NIGGER and i'm shocked he hasn't died yet just from being such a sorry ass INBRED METH HEAD for all of these years.
 
so far this is surprisingly kino, if and i known this is a big if none of the following things happen:
- the twins, Landon and momo go home leaving no one interesting in the tank
- jet completely gives up for no reason
- police kicks them
this will basically be a superior version of S2 with an actually good cast, still inferior to S3 but then again i doubt they will ever top it
it has already pulled me in harder than S4 ever did and doesn't have bitchtank vibes like S4
 
also props to production for having insane luck finding people so bizarre they don't even feel real, i can't believe i share a reality with Burt and the twins, those people belong in a cartoon

Skipped s4 entirely because it just felt off, s5 is feeling good so far! I was really skeptical about Bam being on but so far he seems to have good instincts to keep things on the rails which was never jet or ben's strong points. cautiously optimistic!
